Hunter: It feels like nature designed specific things to be enjoyed with a partner just to taunt us sometimes. I'm really sitting here contemplating that snow is a conspiracy theory designed to make us feel lonely. That says a lot about love life in general, doesn't it? Hahaha.

Emma: Oh God, I just reread over that text. I did not mean to sound like a pick-me.

Emma: But yeah well, I don't need to worry about that anymore since you and I are tying the knot, right? ;)

Emma: Oh, it absolutely is. Once you stop playing in it as a child or with a partner, you start hating it. I never understood why my parents hated snow until I had to shovel it myself. I love Christmas and seeing family, but honestly, unless you're a child or in a relationship, it's not nearly as magical. It is kind of lonely.

I’m super stoked for Halloween, I feel like I’ve had such a quiet year this year so I’m really excited for the party. I’ve got my costume sorted already, I’m just waiting for it to arrive! I’ve been really sick for the past two weeks, so I’ve just been holed up watching scary movies, I did also bake Halloween cookies when I started to feel better. Have you got your costume organized yet? Are you doing any pre-Halloween activities? Talk spooky to me, I wanna know everything!

You and me both. I’ve been taking a lot more time off than usual and now I’m starting to feel the impact of doing next to nothing. I’m sorry you’ve been sick! I hope you start getting better soon. One week is bad but two weeks is a horrible amount of time. There’s no bigger distraction from your own pain than seeing someone on screen go through five hundred times worse. Or you could be dramatic like me while sick and say you feel the equivalent of someone losing a limb. I do have my costume ready, and have been decorating my house like crazy still, though I think I’m done for this year.

Hunter: Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaase tell me your talking burton's version of catwoman? Michelle Pfiefer? I may have to die if you do. Except the 'may' part isn't even a question.

Hunter: Me too! That's exactly it. I love the aesthetic and fall and winter but the cold isn't enjoyable for too long. I'm all about taking a vacation somewhere snowy with a boo and enjoying cuddling and fires and hot chocolate and even going out and snowboarding, but.....a vacation....with the romance. Is the only thing that would entice me to want to spend longer than a few days in the snow. And I say this having lived in new york and loved it. The subways after snow though? DISGUSTING.

Emma: It's been so long since I've gotten laid or been in a relationship due to being so busy with work, I almost forget how to act when someone flirts, nonetheless how relationships even work. I cuddle with my cat and call it a day, it's almost pathetic lol

Emma: Right, there's a difference when you have the warmth of another person to snuggle up to, there's nothing like christmas or general winter when you have that person. you see it through completely different eyes. Without one though, i bitch beyond relief at how miserable i can get.

Emma: Isn't he still touring? I'd assume that's the reason you haven't heard back yet if he's on a hectic schedule, but crossing my fingers you end up going.

Hunter: I just woke up from a nap. I'm a little tired from traveling myself but otherwise pretty alright! The leaves are turning here and it's so pretty.

Emma: I've been going back n forth on Catwoman the past few days. Maybe we'll go with that. Tight leather and red lips.

Emma: Fall colors are beautiful. I get cold easy once the weather starts changing, but there's something so comforting about reds and oranges, sweaters and leggings. I love it.
