☽ || ❝ heeeeeeeeey. ❞ the witch lets himself in, as normal, whistling to himself enough to let the residents of the WOLF HOUSEHOLD know of his presence. but he’s shrugged off the possibility of being turned away; he’s known this family for years. this is practically his second home. ❝ sup, dad. ❞ the world casually flies off his tongue as he approaches the eldest of the pack, leaning forward with a genuine - not mischievous - smile upon sprightly features. yes, he and zeke may not be of blood relation; but again, he’s known this family long enough that the big bad wolf is probably the closest thing for a father he’s ever had. he leans on the counter, pursing his lips. ❝ ...’s not a bad time, is it ?? ❞

kal had arrived to find that not only was eden not around, but their roomate wasn’t either. the young boy sighed, slumping down in front of his older sibling’s place to wait for them, his entire body throbbing. whoever said the children in auradon were as sweet and innocent as their parents were wrong, and kal knew plenty of villain kids who were far nicer than any of the princes he’s met, whom had cornered him and roughed him up a bit after school. seeing eden approach, kal perked up.  ❝ eden ! thank god you’re home. ❞ @enchantcdcandy

♕. || ❝ home a bit earlier, truly; do you know it’s possible for a DONUT MACHINE to break ?? ❞ eden walked in with a slight bounce in their step, probably from the fact that they got off early - but their energy quickly faded as soon as their eyes laid on their brother. after being the oldest for years, the eldest sibling instinct tended to kick in randomly, like a sixth sense. they knew. ❝ ... kal ?? ❞ they asked, tone gentle. ❝ did ... something happen at school today ?? ❞

Thirty seconds, that was how long the twenty one year old had been in Auradon. And he was already lost. Staring at the map in his hands, he couldn’t figure any of it out. Flipping the map clockwise, he stared pulling it closer to his face and then farther. Another flip the same direction, continuing the same motion of back and forth. “Screw it!” He muttered angrily under his breath, simultaneously ripping the map in half. “Not like maps are helpful at all.” He added sarcastically, throwing the remnants of the map to the ground. 

👻 || ❝ believe it or not, there was a time where maps didn’t exist. ❞ the shorter male commented, observing the other from afar. charlie yawned, looking back down at his book as he turned a page. and then, he continued, ❝ what are you going to use to navigate ?? the stars ?? ❞ charlie could navigate by stars; it was a trick he learned off of discarded books on the isle. however, he didn’t comment on that specifically. that’d be a bit too pretentious.

“Okay so I may of left it open incase a certain man came in, and look, I was right.” She giggled, jumping off the bed and walking closer to him. “You can let me have anything I want? Well that’s an interesting sentence because right now I would like a kiss, from you.”

☽ || he had to pause, letting out a chuckle himself. as his eyes closed, perhaps a slight pink dusted across his cheeks, and he crossed his arms. ❝ yes, anything. ❞ he repeated, opening brown hues and looking into hers. and with her request, he gently pulled her close and placed his lips upon her forehead, withdrawing after a second or two. ❝ eye for an eye, sweetheart; can i have one from you now ?? ❞

stefano lost himself in his plans, retreating into his little word and completely ignoring the worker as he sketched out a rough design. it was startling when he was suddenly interrupted and he jumped, cursing himself for forgetting the exact reason why he never did work outside of his apartment. “nothing that involves you,” he said dully, continuing his sketching as if nothing had happened.

🍒 || ❝ i-i- s-sorry. ❞ he was quick to draw back, stepping away and going back to his station behind the bar. but, on the inside, his anxiety - believing that he pissed this customer off - was going through the roof. it was like a bell going off in his head, constantly reminding him that he fucked up. ❝ i... i’m just- ...really into art. s-sorry, i didn’t mean to invade on your... privacy...❞ just stop talking.

Olena was thrilled to hear that her brother was around the area, and quickly dashed off to find him. She had searched almost everywhere and was about to give up until she saw him sitting near the campus of the prep. She tapped him on the shoulder before asking. “You come by and don’t even bother to show up at your sister’s? How rude?” She joked before laughing and plonking herself down beside him.

👻|| caught up in his own thoughts, as per usual, charlie found himself etching down nonsense prose on the faded pages of a leather journal. he was a writer at heart; part of the reason why he loved composing music. though, this wasn’t anything to be made into a symphony later on - this was just vent writing. ❝ ah - ❞ normally, strangers weren’t welcome to the son of the boogeyman. but this was no stranger - OLENA was perhaps the only person charlie cared for. he didn’t smile, but the way he bobbed his head up and immediately turned his attention to her - undivided - was enough to show he was happy she was giving him her time. ❝ you’d think after TWENTY-FIVE years you’d be used to my natural rudeness. i figured you’d catch on by now. ❞ he was joking - his tone was soft, lighthearted. not the normal, low spike it usually possessed.

people were not the same in auradon as they were in wonderland. that was for sure. six impossible things were not thought of as eyes opened to sunlight, riddles weren’t looked at with joy and none of the cookies make you change size. pandora longed for the strange roads and the flying fish and the toads who sang. she missed the white queen’s castle and tea time in the forest. her normally bright hair was dulled with her mood and she laid on the concrete trying to think of what to do. she bolted up right in excitement, the blue in her hair vibrate as her eyes.  of course the answer was right in front of her. well not literally because the way to wonderland was hard to find but if you hand the right people by your side….”TIS TIME TO ASSEMBLE!”

if there was anything eleven loved with a burning passion; it would have to be her family. a small sigh left her lips as she unlocked the door to her parents house, throwing the keys on the table near the door. “dad?” she called out, walking throughout the house. “daaaaaaad?” she called out louder, looking around. she turned a corner into the kitchen and broke out into a grin, “dad! god, clean out your ears, would ya?? a response would’ve been nice!”

💀 || ❝ eleven !! you’re home !! ❞ exclaimed the tall pumpkin king, upon seeing the lovely image of his daughter returning home. of course, he always forgot the nickname his daughter preferred. instantly, he walked over, taking eleven by her hand and excitedly saying, ❝ my dear, you have to see this - i’ve already begun my decorating, LOOK !! ❞ he led her into the living room, and then motioned to the black pine standing in the corner, decorated with cobweb garland and macabre decorations that reflected their home. ❝ i’ve decided to make a halloween tree; because christmas isn’t close enough, but HALLOWEEN is! what do you think ?? ❞

ALRIGHT TIME TO TALK ABOUT BI- i mean, charlie. charlie. charlie boogie, eldest of oogie boogie, also known as the worst.

👻. alright so this is charlie. he’s twenty-seven but he looks about 20 or 21 bc all of ryan’s resources are from that time he’s cursed with a fucking halloweentown baby face and i hate him 👻. so like his sister, OLENA, charlie’s really inclined to music. but the main thing that separates him from olena is that she’s more modern, but he’s a composer. he’s into piano and violins while she’s honestly cooler and into guitars and honestly his sister is so much better than him in many, many ways 👻. and like all the boogie kids, charlie possesses magic, but he actually hates bugs so his magic stems more from halloweentown itself; he SEES ghosts and talks to them, more than he talks to people. aaaand that closes him off. 👻. personality wise, charlie appears very sweet and cute. if he’s quiet. but then he opens his mouth and he has absolutely no filter, cusses a mile a minute, and basically says the rudest things ever for no reason other than ... that’s what he was taught as a kid. - - - - 👻. oogie basically fuckin’ groomed him to be that type of person, and he hates his father for it, but he knows it’s his go-to reaction and he still has yet to really overcome that.  👻. another thing about charlie - he’s still really into the idea of scaring and halloween, and because of his own insecurities revolving around his face and appearance, he wears... a lot of makeup. he wears ryan’s fever makeup. and this is just a personal thing; he also dresses in a lot of vaudeville style and the like.  👻. so in summary he’s like... really bitchy and really vulgar but that’s really because that’s all he knows ?? unless you’re olena; then he’s really soft and calm and quiet. he doesn’t smile a lot, but he shows affection towards his loved ones in small ways. and if you fucking hurt his sister he’ll go boogeyman on your ass- 👻. anyway. ryan ross.

riley rolled her eyes playfully before nodding. “yes, i want one. it’s alcohol.” a grin was on her lips as he pulled another shot glass out, pouring the liquid. she could smell it from where she sat and her grin only grew. “chocolate-cherry vodka?” she asked as she grabbed the glass, smelling it. she quickly tilted her head back, downing the shot. she made a small face, feeling it burn down her throat and she coughed a bit. “strong shit you got there,” she commented before laughing. she gave him a playful shove on his shoulder and shook her head, “i won’t tell anyone, kitty. don’t you worry.” she then shook her head, smiling. “more like a weekend trip. we can’t see everything all in one day!”

🍒 || ❝ day trip. a-alright, sounds good. ❞ there was a content smile, and slowly, he looked around, before taking the bottle of vodka and sliding it underneath the bar. and then, there was a light sigh. ❝ it’ll feel good to ... GET OUT a bit. ❞ his fingers clutched at nothing except for the scratches and marks in the bar. and there was a yawn, showing off the sharp canines that the fairy godmother’s spell may have glossed over. and that was okay; he didn’t expect everything about his body to change with magic. ❝ i take visits from time to time; just to visit dad, and the factory, and my old job. dad wants me to be a laugh floor guy like him; but... i dunno. i don’t think i’m built for it. that’s why we have - ❞ he motioned to the bottles of alcohol behind him. ❝ - this. ❞

Asa let out a rare smile. For once in his life, he didn’t feel threatened. “Yeah, that’s right. Someday, Zira and all us kids are going to overthrow Simba and take back what should be ours.” He pondered the final statement for a while, silence raising into the air. “Nah, my dude, if it means I get to talk about home, I could care less.”

♕. || upon seeing the other individual smile, eden did the same. even if it was content and calm, they loved seeing others happy. negativity was never their fancy; and they were sunny. they RADIATED that type of energy in the hopes others would catch on. they wanted their happiness to be contagious. ... of course, the first sentence threw them off guard, but that was okay. they’d IGNORE it. ❝ you do enjoy your home, yes ?? you seem to ... light up upon talking about it. you look quite nice like such. ❞

“Oh sweetie, I am rude so trust me when I say that what you assumed wasn’t rude at all. You were just doing your job” he said and nodded to his own words. As he continued to listen to the other talk, he had to bit down on his tongue to keep the laughter inside. It was quite adorable how nervous they were. Something Joshua was rather used to, in hindsight. He made people nervous, in good and bad ways. He had a reputation after all, a reputation built on the honest truth. “I am only twenty-one. That is rather young, if you ask me. If I had been maybe thirty and looked like this, then maybe I would have been freaked out too. But I am still just in the start of my adult life” he mused and smirked. “And you’re not making anything awkward”

🍒 || ❝ i-i have a HABIT of doing that. it’s ... why i don’t ... try and talk much. ❞ and there was a silence further proving this claim. he felt so nervous, tripping over his speech in tumbles, talking in circles and not knowing where he was going. and with customers, they always wanted to talk. carter would normally make it a habit of politely smiling and nodding, but now he was caught in a FULL CONVESATION. mayday mayday- ❝ i-i’m eight years your senior. i wouldn’t throw around the ‘s-word’ for somebody as old as i am... especially the one supplying you with drinks. speaking of which, refill ?? ❞

Olena was as happy as can be with herself at this moment in time. She was becoming more and more unlike her villanious father and was starting to believe in herself. She was dancing around her bedroom, humming a tune, which ended up in another song.

“ohhh, got it. are you from the isle, or…?” imari didn’t know anywhere that had an emergency number that was 2319. although he didn’t know the emergency number for most places. did the isle even have an emergency number? he had no idea. eyes fell on the other male’s phone and his brows furrowed watching him play the game. it didn’t seem like something that would be very much fun for a long period of time. “real video games? like what?”

Red nodded slightly, “hmm, well if the finale of the Unification Ball is anything to go by then I imagine something unexpected will happen…expect the unexpected though, right?” Truth be told she was actually really looking forward to Halloween, and part of her would like to celebrate uninterrupted, but she always enjoyed things going wrong for other people. She raised an eyebrow slightly. “Yeah, they’re alright, but I imagine they’re a little bitter at having grown up where they did, most of us are. I mean, you seem like an alright guy, but I’m pretty sure I heard or read somewhere that you kidnapped Santa? Isn’t that kinda illegal?”

💀 || he opened his mouth to speak, but there was a falter. jack paused for a few seconds, closing his eyes as he took a moment to mentally smack himself upside the head. for the umpteenth time. and as he opened his eyes, ❝ ...yes... that did happen. HOWEVER. ❞ he raised a bony finger to emphasize his point. ❝ i did rescue santa from the terrible oogie boogie, and now, we’re on good relations. of course, i can no longer try and STEAL christmas again, but i do like the festivities. ❞
