Derya coughs, warm blood in her teeth, a brilliant halo of fractured light subsuming her vision on the right side. It's dazzling, a divine breaking in the world like the fire of an eclipse. If she's to go out like this, at least shes seen something beautiful.

Everything hurts, and what doesn't, she cant feel at all. She's not wholly certain she's moving, or if the world is rumbling and wavering beneath her. The sky remains overhead, for now, the twinkling stars, and the half moon, they're reaching out, joining the halo and pulling her in.

If she imagines hard enough, maybe she could be out to sea, the ever roiling waves carrying her to the next life.

What little of her vision that hasn't been overtaken by the light of heaven shows her flashes of movement, a person or an angel, she isn't sure, but suddenly she is no longer alone. So they must be an angel, what a kind gift to give, their cool skin against her wounds like the ocean against the burn of the summer sun.

"Hello," she says, or tries to. There's blood in her teeth, which means there's probably blood in her throat, but maybe the angel will hear her anyway. She smiles, a faint wheeze hissing between her lips.

They're beautiful. Dark hair, face obscured by the burning halo in her eye, all the same she tries to reach out.

Would it be so bad if the last thing she does before she dies is touch divinity?

I spent (too much!!!) time setting up a nice ik rig for the wings but ended up remembering that actually i like fk way more for animating them. So i guess I'll change that next time. For now a bit more weight painting to do and of course textures but honestly I think I'll just put it in the game and see how I can handle the behaviour tree set up.

I think it's pretty cool nonetheless!

The funny thing about the World of Darkness vampires is that they are literally one of the only two splats (along with demons) that include an explicit, practical reason not to be a complete fucking asshole, because they literally lose their minds if they get too nasty, and yet they're still Like That. And all of them in-universe are like "well, you know, the Inner Beast drives you to be a monster :(", but if you look at the actual evil shit they do, 90% of it has zero to do with the Inner Beast and everything to do with, like, capitalism, neo-feudalism, severe delusions of grandeur, and existing in a state of perpetual turf war. Like, I really don't think the Curse of Caine made you burn down your rival's entire appartment building, bro, I think you might just be a bad person and getting rewarded for it
