Eco-Friendly Alternative to Coffins

Project designers, Anna Citelli and Raoul Bretzel have constructed a biodegradable, organic capsule as an alternative to a coffin called, “The Capsula Mundi.” The purpose of the project is a conceptually and physically beautiful one; it is to reunite the deceased body back with nature and life. After the deceased is buried in a fetal position inside the pod, a tree seed or tree will be planted above the capsule. Within time the body’s nutrients will nurture the ground, causing a tree to grow from the remains. 

Instead of harming the environment by chopping down trees for wooden coffins and burying them, the project’s aim is to promote green cemeteries adorned with trees, you can chose. Originally conceived in Italy, the project is a working theory at the moment because Italian law forbids this type of burial. The goal is to comfort loved ones with a majestic body of nature they can visit. “A cemetery will no longer be full of tombstones and will become a sacred forest.”

The client will choose the tree.

Asa Butterfield on the Shortlist to Play Spider-Man!

Nothing has been confirmed, nor do any of these young actors have the role yet, but The Wrap has learned that the pictured upcoming stars are on a shortlist to be offered screen tests for the role of Spider-Man.

If you haven’t noticed Asa Butterfield is one of the lucky actors to be considered! He definitely has the resume to play an action-packed Superhero.

It’s super exciting to see where our Ender’s Game cast members are heading toward. I know it isn’t set but to be considered for such an iconic superhero means you’ve been making your mark in the industry.

Again, no one has been offered a screen test nor the role, but soon 2-3 of the actors would be testing which then would lead to a possible choice. Then goes the process of actually casting which will probably take a while.

Anyways, congrats for making the shortlist Asa! We are all supporting you in getting the role!

Go watch The Giver tonight!

I was able to attend an early screening of The Giver this Tuesday and having just recently finished reading the novel, I have to say that the movie does it justice.

Jeff Bridges, The Giver, and Meryl Streep, Chief Elder, are just amazing in the movie. Without giving spoilers their bickering is just hilarious!
