I adore the idea of a pred so happy to have their dear prey in their belly, just doting over them and sounding so happy. Just blushing and talking to them like "oh you wouldn't believe how much I missed having you in me!" as they sit with em.

Like this idea a lot. It's a pretty cool thing :3

Mermaid pred who follows a specific ship around, eating anyone who falls in the water and letting them out when the ship reaches port. She is unofficially called the chief safety officer, and they do keep trying to pay her but running into practical issues. In the end they just keep a ledger of how much she’s owed and buy her things at port.

She is quite affectionate with most of the crew, but her favorite is this one deckhand that she sometimes complains at until said deckhand ends up in the water. She usually plays with her deckhand quite a bit before eating her, light bites and heavy grasps as she enjoys the fun sounds, once she’s satisfied with the squeaks and moans, into the gullet the deckhand goes.

My hypothetical gift basket for a mixed-size pred/prey couple:

- Flavored skincare/shower products the prey can apply for added taste.

- Safe-to-swallow ball lights for prey that're afraid of the dark, or that just want to see the stomach insides. Comes with a handle indented into it.

- A stury, easily swallowable retrieval rope for preds that can't bring prey back up on their own. Can be tied around the ball light's handle for recovery.

- Booklet on how to safely use the rope.

- Fast-acting antacids to alleviate acid reflux for the predator.

- Life-sized gummy candies for practice, or as company for the prey.
