WHAT WILL YOU DECIDE?

An evil entity is taking over the animated world, sending armies of monsters to destroy the homes of the animated characters we all know and love. Some flee through a portal and into San Francisco, where they take up residence in Haven Hill, a small neighborhood of apartments equipped to house these characters. Others take up arms and prepare to fight for their world, hoping one day to reclaim it from the evil that spreads every day.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH - LAUREN

Lauren is a newer member here at EDS, but she is one we love just the same! She already has such a great group of characters, from Meg to her own OC! All of her characters are so diverse and different and she’s always ready to plot and thread with any of them! It seems like her mind is a factory of characters and ideas that keeps on growing and growing. She manages to remain active in all ways, from chatting in the cbox to threading like a madman, and we can’t wait to see what she does next!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - MARLON STRAND

Have you seen my son? With the perfect face claim choice (”Gotta start a new nation / gotta meet my son”), who couldn’t fall in love with Marlon? He’s well created and well loved and everything by Junie, who has made him suffer even more tragedy than anyone ever could have guessed. His threads are already fun and exciting to read, and we can’t wait to see what comes next as he meets back up with Dory and his own son! We’re sure to be in a world of amazing feels with this guy around!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - BASTIAN CROSS

Bastian is a character we’ve seen onsite for ages, and it seems like with every post Mira makes with him he grows and develops! The cat from Coraline is so wonderfully placed on site as he works in his little shops and meets all sorts of new and different people. He is incredibly well developed and well plotted and more! Sometimes it can be hard to play a character for so long thoughout so many changes, but Mira handles everything wonderfully and has made Bastian a character everyone should want to read about!

THREAD OF THE MONTH - KING OF BAD DECISIONS -- THOMAS BALE && HUELWEN TYL

When Thomas finds himself injured and unconscious on a flooded savannah plain, who else comes to his rescue but the changeling child Heulwen? It's fair to say that both Liz and Sam are master feels manipulators on top of being excellent writers in their own right. Together, they have elevated it to an art. This thread is a combination of adorable first meetings, a high-stress disaster situation, topped with a bit of magic (and just a dash of nostalgia for longtime fans of these two) that makes it a potent cocktail of feelings.

RELATIONSHIP OF THE MONTH - RANGI ANOA’I && MORA MUNROE

Now who would have ever imagined this pair together? The Demigod Maui and the princess of Atlantis together certainly doesn’t seem like a likely match, but it’s happened! Crona and Hotrod play these two darlings perfectly separately, and when they throw them together it just makes sense! Even though Rangi is full of himself, Mora can deal with it- and that’s something we always find impressive. We can’t wait to see where these two end up next, and if they ever go on the date everyone keeps talking about!

MEMBER OF THE MONTH - ANNA

It’s rare to come across someone as kind and welcoming as Anna is! Still a fairly newish member of the EDS community, she is always so active and lovely to everyone she meets! Coming into the site with a real world original character instead of a canon can always be interesting, but she has made it work so well and Greg feels just like a regular old character on site now! Now that she’s made the griffin from Quest for Camelot a girl, we really can’t wait to see where she goes next with her ideas and her wonderful characters!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - MARY DOYLE

Everyone loves Boo! This cute little girl stole the hearts of everyone once Monsters Inc. came out, and she’s stealing the hearts of everyone again now that Sammi has brought her to EDS. With part of the Pixar theory in play, Boo is an amazing character that we all love, and the way Sammi plays her, genius and all, is absolutely amazing! We love to read her threads, see her friends, and more!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - MORA MUNROE

Another wonderful character on site, miss Mora Munroe, is so cool to read about! Hot Rod plays her in such a way that she is truly true to Kida’s personality, both serious and not, and is always so fun to read about. Not to mention the way she isn’t afraid of anyone- not even demigods! Mora is such a thought out character that we all love to read everything she does, and we can wait to see where she goes next!

THREAD OF THE MONTH - I WOULD WALK - RICHARD && GISELLE

Enchanted is such a beautiful and interesting movie, and this thread feels just the same! Whenever two characters meet back up again it always melts the hearts of everyone who enjoys that film, and Richard and Giselle are no different. Wendy and Amanda are so incredibly great at bringing their characters to life and having them interact is so perfect and sounds just like canon! This is one amazing reunion thread!

RELATIONSHIP OF THE MONTH - MARGERY HARE && EILIAN BLANCHE

Who doesn’t love a pair of totally crazy kids? The Alice in Wonderland characters are always so fun to read about and follow along with in their adventurres, and the White Rabbit and the March Hare are no different! They both have such distinctive personalities, and when these two “cousins” come together, nothing is better! Their meetings always seem so wonderful and pure, and we can’t wait to see what happens next!

MEMBER OF THE MONTH - SAM

One of the founding mothers of the site, Sam has been a hard-working member of the site since the start, working hard to make graphics and more! She has a handful of amazing characters, from Charlie the sweet little dinosaur, to the evil queen that is Levina. Each and every character’s personality comes shining out through her writing, not to mention the fact that she is always so wonderful to talk to both on and offsite!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - HUNTER KNIGHT

If you know Jack, then you know Hunter Knight, one of the snarkiest, sassiest characters we have onsite. You can’t go wrong with his whip-quick wit and very particular brand of charm that somehow manages to be both abrasive and appealing at the same time. But Knight’s strength doesn’t simply lie with his personality – he boasts a wonderfully detailed and immersive background and has a fabulous animal sidekick to boot. 

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - COSMO BENNET

We all love the little children from The Nightmare Before Christmas, especially when they come to life on our site! Luca has taken Barrel and given him a long backstory, from the way he died to the way he reacts to the world now. From his amazingly done app, full of insane characterization, we have been blessed to see him on site. We simply can’t wait to see who he meets next, and to see what happens when he finally reconnects with his best friends again!

THREAD OF THE MONTH - SPAT BACK TEETH & BONE - MINA DELACOUR && HENRI AREN

The smaller characters are always so amazing to see fleshed out, and Mina and Henri are no different. The Queen and King of Arendelle are amazing, and full of emotions that no one ever expected. Sam and Wynn had fleshed them out amazingly, given them a background that no one can imagine, and have thrown them straight into nightmares- what could be better? We can’t wait to see where this thread goes next!

RELATIONSHIP OF THE MONTH - ARETHA FAY && DALLAS WILLIAMS

We love the way that Laura and Wynn have brought Rita and Dodger from Oliver and Company to life in San Francisco. These two characters are a treat to have onsite with immense love and detail being put into both; but when put together, magic and feels is bound to happen! Rita and Dodger have been through it all and we can’t wait to see what plots are in store for them!

From her positivity to her welcoming attitude, Pond is a true gem. She's been a moderator since EDS was founded, and she has been an increasingly important member to our community. Pond goes out of her way to plot with everyone on site and makes herself available whenever she can. From her ever-lovable Molly Davis to her serious and severe San, she's clever, versatile, and always an absolute dear.

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - CHIHIRO OGINO

We’ve all known about Steph’s muse for Chihiro, and we’re so excited to finally see her characterized on site! Steph has brought this young girl to life, making her an entirely new person after losing her most of her memories of her time in the bathhouse. Chihiro is funny, clumsy, and everything else you could have pinned to her adorable personality! She may be a newer character on site, but she is already blossoming more than any of us could have ever imagined!

CHARACTER OF THE MONTH - VIDA THEMIS

The world of entities is definitely an interesting one, and one that many people on site have fallen in love with. Life herself, Vida, is no exception! Stace has brought her so many amazing and adorable personality quirks, and it is also interesting to read all of her threads! Stace has given her so many great friends and such a creative job delivering babies! She is such a fun character to see on site, and everyone should want a plot with her!

THREAD OF THE MONTH - SUICIDE UNDERGROUND - THADDEUS KEATS && HUCK HOUND

This is a thread that has kept everyone on the tips of their toes as we’ve all read and enjoyed it! Luca and Toby have brought the Fox and the Hound to life and it makes us all want to laugh cry, and emote more than we ever though possible! It’s incredible to see the pair grown up and in a different light than ever before, and it’s one none of us want to stop reading about!

RELATIONSHIP OF THE MONTH - TRISTA SERES && RALPH ALCOTT

We aren’t alone in saying we never expected a relationship like this one site- but it’s already wonderful! Seeing a small toy dinosaur and a ‘bad guy’ video game character together makes for tons of laughs, especially with a bit of awkwardness going on! You can tell Liz and Jane are having a ton of fun writing about their little toys and games and keep on making us all smile as we wait to see what comes next in this budding relationship!

Some members go above and beyond, and Liz is one of those people. She has done so much to help the site grow more and more- especially by making us so many wonderful skins! Of course this isn’t at the top of the list, as she plays many incredibly characters like the Evil Queen and Trista, the dinosaur from Toy Story! We really love to read her writing and whatever crazy things her mind comes up with!
