5$ 2nd-hand stainless-steel hand-wound ALLWYN. Made in India. On 2$ Chinese stainless steel strap. Both pretty stained considering it's supposed to be stainless. But staines add character. At least that's what my mattress salesman tells me. Zing! *laughter* *applause* (All my watches are under 50$.)

Old Russians: RAKETA & SLAVA

Russian made SLAVA mechanical day/date with stunning green/black gradient face (15$). Banged up, crooked day indicator and running fast about 30sec per day. Polished the scratched glass and put it on a new cheap Chinese stainless steel strap (3$). 😍

Vintage Soviet made day/date RAKETA (РАКЕТА) with cool patina on an Indian made heavily used HMT steel strap. Whole thing cost about 20$. So heavy I have to drag my knuckles along the street. :) (All my watches are under 50$. Most of them way under that.)

Soviet made mechanical Pobeda (ПОБЕДА) bought for about 15$ with nylon strap for.. dont remember.. 2$? Love the shape of the case, love how it’s worn and weathered. (All my watches are under 50$.)

Vintage “MADE IN USSR” hand wound export Wostok (Восток) for about 20$ on a 18mm red/beige nato-strap (9$). All my watches are under 50$.

My original Soviet RAKETA hand wound watch (30$) in excellent condition. With red leather strap (10$). You can just barely make out the “СДЕЛАНО В СССР” (made in the Soviet Union).

One of my favourite watches. Stunning original vintage OLMA Swiss made hand wound watch from the ‘60s that I bought from the original buyer for 50 Swiss francs (=50$) in a pub in Zürich, Switzerland. Note the “spider-leg” lugs. Kept the original leather strap. (All my watches are under 50$.)
