Hob Gadling as a stuntman in the 1970s-80s (pre-internet, crucially). Falls from insane heights and it may take him a minute but he always gets back up. Not the most graceful sword fight stand-in, but he’s accurate and his blows look powerful. There was a rumor about some young hot shot movie star accidentally running him through with a blade that was sharper than it should have been, but ol’ Bobby walked away so it must have been fine. His stunts always look the most realistic.

And when Hob starts showing Dream some of the movies he’s done and points himself out (which is completely unnecessary, Dream will always recognize Hob, even if he’s costumed to look like someone else) Dream is completely torn between:
