Depends. To actually get him to really cede power would take a type of emotional vulnerability that i simply don't think he's reaching naturally with anyone in his lifetime, but he doesnt mind playing at it. The kind of guy who'd backseat drive, if that makes sense. In my head not all that into domination surprisingly because thats just his day to day life so it's not very interesting to him, but it's more a neutrality then anything else.

🪵 is he as assured of his power as he seems? is there any sense of inferiority he seeks to compensate for?

Viscerally aware he can die. It's less that he feels inferior and more so that he's seen evidence time and time again that being High Lord sometimes will not save you and reacts accordingly. Holds onto control as hard as he can. I headcanon him as having started out with a lot of insecurities around a lot of things that he used to make up for aggressively, but he's slowly let go of most of them.
