there's a small sigh that follows, almost one of disappointment as she shakes her head. " It's just a shame I don't have it right now. Then again, people might freak out if they saw a bike seemingly on fire racing through the streets."

" Don't be afraid– wanna come take a closer look?" Mavuika's words are gentle but encouraging as she carefully maintains her hold on the lizard which decided to make its home on her shoulder initially. she suspected her snack of some herb crackers is what drew the creature in and she was more than happy to share them, even talking to the lizard here and there. it was only the sound of grass shifting that caught her attention, making the archon look up from her perch on the grass at the young girl staring at the duo.

" He won't bite. If you have something yummy on you he may try and sneak a taste but hey, who can blame him?" a smile is flashed as she laughs softly.

when it comes down to it, the pyro archon wasn't the type to hold back. from fighting to something as simple as words, mavuika makes it known. that doesn't mean she lacks any tact or social grace– no matter the topic, it must be handled a certain way and she knows the other has already caught onto her staring. (not that she was being subtle in the first place.)

" Your hands." she starts off after another prolonged moment of silence. " How did they end up like that?"

it wasn't mavuika's best moment– zoning out in the middle of a task, which led to whatever the other said to go in one ear and right out the other. it was becoming a habit, this wandering off in thought in this city. it afforded certain freedoms she didn't really have the luxury of back in natlan. so naturally, she unconciously took advantage of it. but there were times and places for that sort of thing and carrying someone in the air wasn't the time or place.

" Need me to go a little lower? I don't see your phone up on the window ledge here."

perhaps the most annoying thing about being in this city was being cut-off from her abilities. not to say she relied heavily on them– it was always her firm belief that gods and the like needed to put their feet on the ground and experience life as everyone did and becoming the archon didn't mean she was anything more than just a normal human– but they did come in handy in a pinch.

for instance, she could just conjure up a fireball the size of her palm and melt this annoying ice in a second. however, no flames spark at her fingertips and so she resorts to more ....mundane methods to help.

" Just need some fuel and a quick flame can melt this off no problem."

You must have a special talent for this, huh?" a warm smile finds it ways to her features, expected from someone who was greeting a good friend. the sight of the traveler was a well welcomed one – Mavuika had a suspicion about a few things, and this seemed to confirm at least one of them.

" And hello to you too, Paimon. Glad to see that not even what I'm assuming is travelling between worlds could separate you two."
