@omnireading better start running.
THIS WAS NOT THE 73RD demon realm. this was not even seoul, or any of the planets yoo joonghyuk had found himself on during his personal quests. this was someplace he’d been transported to against his will, with no way to resist or fight against. this was a place that had stripped him of his powers and abilities, left him weaker than he’d been since the early days of his first regression. even his swords had been taken from him.
to put it lightly, yoo joonghyuk was pissed.
it was the reason he found himself blazing down the street, a dark cloud of rage intent on finding something, someone to release his frustrations out on. to force them to tell him how to break free from this place, and return to where he belonged: stopping the scenarios and gaining strength enough to tear the constellations from the sky.
it was unfortunate that it was in this state that yoo joonghyuk found kim dokja.
for a moment, the protagonist’s thoughts scratched to a halt, his steps stopping abruptly in their tracks as dark eyes locked with each other. that white coat, that sly and infuriating face. there was no doubt that this was kim dokja. the person yoo joonghyuk had been looking for, when he’d been yanked into this world. his thoughts stuttered and skipped for a moment before rapidly speeding up, the blink of his eyes the only crack in his furious expression.
it’s you. you’re alive. i didn’t take you from this world permanently. the others are worried about you. you made the children cry. where did you go? i went looking for you. why do you insist on doing this to yourself? you should have let it be me.
but none of those things made it out of his mouth.
