And the thing is, 99% of the time those spaces aren't actually trans friendly at all. Trans men are allowed cause they're not going to treat you as a real man and they don't see you as one. Every single nonbinary person is seen as "woman-lite". And god forbid you actually pass or look particularly masculine.

It’s so hard to find in character starscream whump with in character autobots and TC & Skywarp. Like ok going by idw characterization, he’ll definitely be capable of just shutting down mentally as he is literally shown doing so after getting heavily injured by Megatron but like everyone hates him and knowingly enjoys him suffering. That lack of community and safety net as he has no reliable allies is integral to his character and how others interact with him. His lack of support is partially his fault because he’s a backstabbing coward with a thirst for power and in IDW partly Megatron’s, due to their y’know abusive Leader-Follower dynamic they have?

Also, he’s the second in command of the enemy army. Why would the autobots be so warmly towards him even if he’s a victim of the most extreme acts of violence?! That’s like expecting someone to have empathy for the American sic (ie JD Vance) being beaten by the president on the daily basis(Before you chime in, you wouldn’t care if Trump was beating JD Vance black and blue)

(Edit: lowkey comparing military rank to civilian governmental ranks isn’t the best way but like no regular person knows or cares about military ranks and knows whose serving under what rank)
