le-voleurâ:
Remy opened the door just enough to keep from banging the new teacherâs head into it again. âYâknow youâve gotta open it firsâ, right?â He laughed and invited the other man in. His three grown kittens trotted up to meet the newcomer happily, weaving in between Olivierâs legs. While the two smaller took kindly to the man, âTisha seemed to be withholding her judgment. She circled him once before taking up a seat at the end of Remyâs bed and watching the man carefully. Remy scooped her into his lap. Heâd been beginning to wonder if the open invitation had been forgotten in the chaos of the last month. âHow ya settlinâ in?â
âUsinâ doors da right way ainât in my rĂ©sumĂ©.â he laughs and kneels down to pet the two kittens by his feet. Olivier knows them, but they were cats by the time he was old enough to have memories he could recall. After a few scratches under both of their chins, he decides it may be best not to keep going in case they changed their minds. Standing, Olivier smiles in reply, âDey make it easy ta settle, da kids? The teens are a bit... more friendly than dey should be.â Probably the burden of being such an attractive teacher he thinks. âWhat do ya call âem?â he points to the kittens now roaming around closer to Remy.
