Day 123: The Mandela Effect
Many of you remember the Berenstein Bears. Well, it’s actually spelled BerenstAIn Bears. Welcome to the Mandela Effect. It is used to explain why many people have clear memories of one thing occurring, while another in fact has occurred. For example, many people clearly remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 80s, and riots occurring because of it. But this didn’t happen. Another instance is of the witch in Snow White saying, "Mirror, Mirror, on the wall...", when in fact she now says, "Magic Mirror on the wall....".
The explanation is that our reality has become wrapped up with a parallel reality and the two realities have gotten mixed up. Or maybe someone went back in time and changed things. For example, the word, “behold” in the bible has inexplicably changes to “look, buddy.” Observe: http://the-toast.net/2016/06/06/bible-verses-where-behold-has-been-replaced-with-look-buddy/
