Welcoming 2016!
Hi! This will be my last post for 2015 because tomorrow’s gonna be a start of something new. Day 365 of 365 meets day 1 of 366. The year of 2015 has been a roller coaster ride. It gave me the opportunity to be stronger as a person, having a stronger faith towards Him through the challenges that I faced, and it made me a better person as far as I know, all because of Him.
Starting from the time where I am emotionally and physically exhausted about what my dream would bring me into, to ending this year full of happiness and rejoice, because of me extending myself and reaching out to other people. I can still remember half of year 2015 where I am deeply tested by God on my faith towards Him, where the greatest challenge of all for me was given. It almost killed me inside, it made me question myself of what is happening to me, over and over everyday, because one of my dreams might not happen anymore. From the time that most of my classmates has been praying for me and even their parents extending their prayers towards me, I am touched and happy that all those prayers occurred with a good outcome, because I am still here. I also know that it was not solely my ability as to why things happened the way it is, but because His guidance never gave up, well He never did, right?
After lacking those motivations before entering med school, here I am still facing the same challenges, but with a little bit of improvement. I am facing the challenge not only by myself, but with Him as well. I am still in question because I know nothing has changed that much from last school year, but I am still happy that I am surviving this kind of life. Like what my classmate said, maybe I was burnt out from college and I should’ve taken a break instead. I am beyond happy because people are not losing hope towards me, and that believing is still there. I am also happy because I made new friends, reaching out with challenges, and of course, knowing Him more. I maybe contented right now about my life (sleeping early everyday as if I’m not a med student), what’s important is you know who you are more than the other people know you.
Hello 2016!!!! My life would still be the same MAYBE (maybe a few years I would back read on this), but what’s important is you are happy and that you that He is at your side always. I would like to thank everyone on my side because you did not give up on me, and hoping to reach out more to others next year. Oops! That’s tomorrow already! Haha. :D
