Basically what the title says, I waited a bit so that I could have enough to fill a whole post, so here we are! They've made quite a bit of progress it seems! Under the read more as usual ^^

So a lot of work has been done and meetings have been had on new CGs for the game! I'm so excited for new ones! ^^

And....new characters? 👀 I wonder if they're talking about Saya, or some other new characters? D-Man maybe? Or an entirely new one? Maybe the new game gives us a chance to save the guard in ch.1 or the man in ch.2 and have them join us? Only time will tell ^^

(also it makes me hope that one day we'll hear the other Mark Bearers sing. Yashita Duet someday maybe? 👀🍀)

My partner surprised me with a custom blanket as a late birthday present and it's beautiful, totally wasn't expecting it 🥺

And the DM2 tapestry I got off of Mercari arrived! :D

Having a lot of fun with the blanket lol, I can fold it in half so it's like the "now kiss" heart locket gif. 10/10

Brief explanation of the timeline: Basically Mashita saw Masamune five years ago shortly before his mentor died pursuing the honey bee case. Masamune had gone to the police station while he was searching for more information on Mary–in particular about the underground shelter–since his father had been close with the police chief. However upon arriving he discovered that the chief his father knew had passed away and the new one was dismissive of him and refused to cooperate. Growing increasingly frustrated, he snapped at the new chief and stormed out, much to Mashita’s amusement.

It is worth noting that Mashita did not conceal what little he knew maliciously here, rather his instinct told him it would be irrelevant and only confuse yashiki (also he didn't hear anything besides “fools” lol). If yashiki knew his former self was at the police station he would investigate it needlessly and waste valuable time. Additionally this new chief was corrupt and took bribes from criminals and was likely responsible for getting Mashita fired over sexual harassment claims. He knew from personal experience that it would go nowhere.

i wanted to get a better feel for how to draw each of the mark bearers and i decided to start with these two (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

never am i ever going to ignore the importance of warmups again orz; it taught me a lot in terms of how i should approach drawing with references, what qualities i want to convey and how i could improve next time so i'm absolutely doing these more often ヽ(▽｀)ノ
