GUESS WHO'S BACK
“For small creatures such as we, the vastness is bearable only through love.”
— Carl Sagan
Do you ever watch programs about space and get really emotional and proud about our sun
like
look at our sun
look at it being all warm and stuff
it’s better than your star look
i was thinking yesterday how weird it is that theres an object in the sky that will cause you physical real pain to look at it directly and we all acknowledge this as normal. just cool to think about is all.
Okay but we’re talking about a gigantic unshielded space nuclear reactor. It is hot enough to burn your skin while millions of miles away from you. It’s large enough and bright enough to illuminate an entire hemisphere of the earth from that distance. It generates the energy that every living thing on earth needs in order to live, and it doesn’t even know we’re here.
The Sun is freaky, is what I’m saying.
You may wish to revise the statement concerning the Sun's lack of awareness of your presence. Last time I talked to it, it seemed fairly cognizant of the situation...
I'm still not entirely certain I grasp the cultural nuances of the 'Valentine,' but it's unquestionably nice to be quoted.
Belated Christmas thoughts.
Roshaun and candy canes.
That is all.
"Candy Canes?"
Tell me more...
you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. you make my happy when skies are grey. one day you will supernova and incinerate anything in your path.
#something something Roshaun tag#oops Young Wizards strikes again
I can confirm that this is a perfectly accurate description of Dairine Callahan.
This gif shows a conjunction of Active Regions 9620, 9621, 9623, and 9626; each of these regions is rather small, and they are all packed within the TRACE field of view.

Haven’t we all, at some point in our lives, wanted to see an alien prince - sorry, an alien king - fighting zombies with a cricket bat? No? Just me? Never mind, then. I watched Shaun of the Dead yesterday and my mind went to a strange place. I apologise for nothing.
Roshaun, is there something you’re not telling me?
It was an atypical few days on an exceptionally atypical planet. Remind me to have words with Carmela about her definition of the term "Weekend Getaway"...
Dairine has taken it upon herself to introduce me to this season’s new television-based entertainment.
While I’m not entirely certain I fully comprehend this ‘shield’ business, I have nothing but empathy for that Ichabod Crane fellow of Sleepy Hollow.
S.H.I.E.L.D. is the best. Though I admit I haven’t seen Sleepy Hollow yet. Do you think I’ll like it?
At the very least, you would probably find the attitude of the protagonist, Abigail Mills, to be entertaining. And familiar. (Sometimes I think I may be a single Ichabod Crane in a world of Abigail Millses…)
Alrighty, then, Kingling. I’ll let you know what I think! Have you two watched Elementary? I feel like you’d have a similar feeling…
Ah, yes. I must confess to being rather bewildered about all of these duelling iterations of the Sherlock Holmes story, but all of them are gratifying and quite mentally engaging.

Followed for the URL, I don't need to actually read any of your posts first. :-)
Most gratifying to hear, I assure you. I am Roshaun ke Nelaid; I bid you welcome to my weblog.
