A little angst comic for today.

Waa I wanted to try something different and I felt color and a sketchy lineart could reinforce the energy of mentally unestable Mitsuki and confrontative Chouchou.

This is a what if he learns the purpose of his creation. I think it could go either in a positive way, where Mitsuki accepts whatever his role is(or twist it in a way he is comfortable with) or in a bad way where he totally denies it(And ditches everyone XD Like he is doing in this comic. Chouchou is kinda trashed because he transformed and sent everyone away) Sorry things are a little vague but since we know so little so far…

Alright, this is the last comic/drawing for a while. I need to finish commissions ASAP, so I will be busy until half February(Will try to finish the Christmas comic around next month tho!)

This was inspired in episode 33(That episode where Inojin can’t draw) Since I was bored I was watching clips on YT of random Boru episodes and I noticed Mitsuki was present when they all were drawing Chouchou. This is what came out of that.

Its almost 2020! Did you have some of your goals achieved? Even if you didn’t that doesn’t mean you can try the next year! I drew a lot this year yet I didn’t manage to meet some of my personal goals… Next year I might be less and less active, but I doubt I will stop drawing these two. I love them so much and it hurts they get so little to no screentime(not even bringing up their interactions here which are even more scarce. TBH no wonder why almost nobody in the Japanese fandom seems to care) Who knows, maybe next year is better.

Let’s see what are these last 2019 drawings about:

Hanafuda Mitsucho. I thought the new ED was very cute. Mitsuki’s card, in particular, is facing upwards and Chouchou is placed in an upper plane. While this is prob just random I thought the two cards together looked nice.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this one here. This is actually something a bunch of mitsucho shippers have been discussing for a while. Snake and Love pillar from KnY been very similar to them.

Now we know Mitsuki wants hugs so a sketch about it. Expect more of huggsss

I was debating about posting these two. Even if I try to be cautious with what I draw, sometimes I find myself doing stuff like this and thinking “Uh, is this too lewd?” I mean I tried this to be something casual intimate instead of sexy. The context here is how they would act if one of them wake up in the middle of the night and wake the other unintentionally(BTW I thought Chouchou calling Mitsuki “honey” would be the most adorable thing aaa) If this isn’t obvious enough, this belongs to the family AU where they are like 30+ years old. (Yeah, It kinda suck to be justifying what I draw but you never know if it might offend someone)

Last one was a failure in so many levels and I have no idea why it took me so long to reach this ending XD Basically I had this sketched for a while but Chouchou’s expression was kinda weird. I had no idea if I wanted a very happy face or a melancholic face? I ended up drawing her as if she was caught by one of their teammates so she asks quietly not to make a fuss. idk

I have nothing done but what will come next (somehow, one day) is the rest of the Christmas comic> the sm8 comic resolution.

I didn’t want to hold this anymore. I might start selling these at the end of the month on my online store(Yes I have an online store. I hid the link within this post, so good luck finding it hehehe) I was hoping I had the mini sticker sheets for each team by now, but I need (again) to catch up with stuff.

Snake & Butterfly sticker sheet. A5 size, matte laminated. You get 12 stickers(Not counting the scroll and the random shurikens) These are ideal to decorate journals or stationary! These are not kiss cut, so you will need to cut them yourself.

Matching outfits sticker pack. Each sticker is approx 10 cm tall, again, matte laminated. It comes with a random mini print of one of the 4 sticker designs AND! It’s holographic laminated :D

Mitsucho bookmarks! These are a set of two, they have some semi-translucent parts and some are opaque. They are handmade so don’t expect a lot of these… If anything don’t expect a lot of anything lol. I wanted to do badges and charms but I’m low on a budget right now :_:

I’m kinda annoyed that Sumire’s getting written off to the sidelines just to adjust to whatever that is happening in the manga, she had so much potential and now she’s stuck in a building as a technician/assistant.

I don’t get how some people can call Boruto a brat or annoying. Like sure you got those people that are saying it cuz maybe they dont like the new series, or that NaruHina happened, or whatever, but I think its pretty clear that theyre not looking at it from Boruto’s perspective. For him Naruto was always there and now suddenly hes at work all day and comes home late being really tired. Naruto is a great parent and he tries his best, he really does. This is in no way saying Naruto’s a bad parent, but from Boruto’s perspective he is. As a kid if all you want is both parents there and apart of your life 24/7 then one being at work all day, barely being able to see you, and you can’t do anything about it really sucks. You get mad at them because youre a kid and you dont fully get that adults needs to work to put food on the table and some jobs require a lot of attention. And especially as a kid its tough to grasp that not everything is about you and your life and your family. The world is far bigger than that and it can be hard to comprehend. You get mad and wonder why they care about their job more than spending time with their kid. Boruto hates Naruto because hes just a 12 year old with a father that he views as absent. Whether or not its true doesnt matter because perception is reality and Naruto being absent and not caring about Boruto is the way Boruto perceives it.

So tl;dr, y'all have never thought a parent was neglecting you as a kid because they worked all the time and it shows.

I agree. Calling Boruto a “brat” betokens a gross misrepresentation and misinterpretation of the core of his character and his personal predicament/anguish during that period. Also he’s one of the most congenial and personable people in hs generation. He was rightfully pissed at his father because Naruto didn’t have the self-awareness to exercise emotional availability and transparent communication as a parent and kept on using lame excuses to justify his negligence.

The same way that Sarada’s parents didn’t have the sense to just flat-out tell her what their familial situation was and allowed Sarada to be emotionally afflicted because of it.

It’s good that both situations have developed and been resolved, though.

Did you liked the lastest episode? I think it was very weak in comparison of the buildup they set for Mitsuki and Sekiei… I wished their heart to heart was stronger and it would have been nice to see Mitsuki loosing his temper at the very least(I was totally OK with the fact he didn’t cry at the end… Perhaps he will when he gets back to Konoha and all realization hits him, who knows)

The sad Mitsuki and Chouchou drawing… I noticed after I was coloring it looked like something I already drew before. Welp, I messed Mitsuki’s clothing anyway.
