-He's peculiar actually! Though this was entirely unknown to him for his entire life
-His peculiarity is, as he describes it, "being ridiculously lucky." A better description would be that he can't really get physically hurt. Any situation where he should be dead, which happens often, he comes out completely fine. Not to say he can't get beat up though, just nothing actually serious/worthy of going to a hospital or doctor
-Bi disaster, and one of the only openly gay kids at school. No one picks on him though because well, you can't bully someone who really doesn't care like that
-Watches anime, specifically the more popular Shonen anime from that year (so like, Naruto, DBZ, Bleach, etc. Anything that was on Toonami!)
-Draws a bit. Not necessarily good at it, but his notebook for school is full of doodles rather than actual notes
-Has horrible ADHD, thus why he needs Jacobs help in school a lot. He's not dumb, just not able to work well in a school set up
-That also being said, he has dyslexia and dyscalculia
-He actually had (has?) a crush on Jacob. He considered him his best friend, despite how Jacob described it in the book
-Ok so this one I got inspo from another person that I can't remember now BUT! Ricky is Latino
-He feels so uncomfortable around Jacobs parents because he knows they look down on him for coming from a much less well off home
Oh by the way, the Ricky in my system made a playlist of music he'd listen to. So literally if one person wants it, I will link it. Fair warning ahead, there is like...problematic artists on it, but he specifically wanted music that he listened to in canon at the time it takes place
