manicured fingers moved upwards to brush flyaway strands of gold over her shoulder, unsure if she could keep eye contact while he answered her. there was an undeniable piece of her heart that couldn’t help wondering what the true intentions were behind his desire to reunite, even if it was just for dinner. “i had to think about it. i thought about it a lot, actually,” sydnee admitted to him, knowing that honesty had always been their policy, “but here i sit,” she paused for a moment, a chuckle sounding from her lips at the lighthearted change in conversation, “there is not, i refuse to ever eat fries without that glorious liquid gold,” the blonde teased, but she was quite serious. following ordering their food, another silence fell upon them and sydnee hummed into it.
