Solazar was walking down the street, thinking of the shopping flame needed to get done. They'd have gotten Agoti to do it, but.... Well, burn was still concerned. Tech called it being overprotective, but what mattered is that it kept void safe. Fire would've continued on their way if flame hadn't spotted someone that looked... Familiar. They stopped in his tracks, looking surprised.
"... Aldryx?"
Aldryx picks up the rest, turning to look up at the other. Well… he was certainly not 100% sure if he was ready but… kinda too late to back out now.. huh?
"Are you ready to go, then?"
They could sense Aldryx's nervousness. After all, she had taken care of both him and Agoti for long enough to be able to read them.
“Y-yeah. Yeah I am.”
Lord this was… gonna be one hell of an emotional trip wasn’t it? Void breathes in again, trying to ease himself. It was gonna be fine.
Solazar nodded, before starting to walk over to the exit of the grocery store. Once again, she waited for void to be ready to walk, shifting flame's arms to balance the weight better.
He follows after a second. Can’t get cold feet. It’s gonna be fine. Just fine. It’s just your brother, what could go wrong?
Soon enough, they reached Solazar's home, which looked... Exactly like Aldryx remembered. Almost like no time had changed. She unlocked the door, and while flame did, footsteps could he heard behind the door, fast. Excited, even.
The nostalgia hit him much harder than void would have thought. They almost didn’t register the footsteps at first. When they did, void tensed. Too late to get cold feet. He just… had to face the other… face his brother… he takes in another small breath. It shouldn’t be as nerve wracking as it is. But it was.
Solazar opened the door, showing Agoti, who'd been waiting behind it. His excited expression changed to shocked, and then to ecstatic, practically tackling their sibling in a hug.
"ALDRYX!-"
Holy fuck, it was Aldryx! It'd been so long!
Well he almost lost his footing for a moment. The surprise taking over for a solid second. He wraps his arms around the other, becoming nervously giddy mixed with slight tears.
“A-Agoti- f- oh my god you’re ok…”
Void was laughing, feeling like they were on cloud fucking nine. When Solazar told him about Aldryx leaving... Well, tech kinda thought that they'd never see him again. But here he was!
"Mhm, takes much more than a lousy plan to put me down. But- You're here! Man, I've missed you..."
Aldryx chuckles softly.
“I-I missed you too.”
Void felt so relieved. Their sibling wasn’t gone- wasn’t dead. Just fine. God he… he felt so relieved.

Well goddamn- void literally had only gotten a jug of milk, a case of water, two boxes of ramen, some fruit, and 2lbs of ground beef… contemplating on getting a case of juice too atm.
She got some more random things that Agoti had asked for as well as a carton of eggs and some cheese, eyeing the Ramen. Usually they'd disapprove of it, but... Well, that could wait.
