Max and charles being fastest in s2 is..... telling. They are so ahead on everyone else when it comes to pure talent I still can't believe they cut their wings like that. They are monsters.

i feel like i haven't talked enough about what insane unfathomable adaptability this guy has

as a driver i genuinely do believe his first and most notable skill is his adaptability and it's not being fairly talked about at all because charles leclerc can drive a god damn tin can if it had wheels

in what is arguably one of the most difficult moments in his career, he's changed something integral to the car that he hasn't in all of his 8 years at the team just to figure it out........then he goes on and wins that very same weekend

wherever and whatever place you will put him, he just crawls out?????? like i do not think there is anyone on the grid that can even compare to his freaky fucking ass not even alonso was ever able to do things like this

sports is not serious except it is its not important so you have to calm down a little bit but also its the most important thing in the world nothing has ever been more important its dead serious its life or death but maybe we can all relax a little bit but dont relax too much because it is so crucial it is so massive it is culture it is identity it is intrinsically woven into the fabric of society however we could maybe chill out sometimes except i wont because its that serious its so so serious

can we also talk about how most of charlie’s wins are so hard fought, it’s never easy, either it’s a track that’s laced with heartbreak and wins that have been taken away, or it’s where he starts fourth and needs amazing tyre management and overtakes to get to the win.

spa 2019: one of his childhood friends died that weekend (rip anthoine🥀) and he still won his first gp

monza 2019: mercedes fighting him hard until the end, first ferrari driver to win monza since michael schumacher in 2006

bahrain 2022: should’ve won bahrain 2019 but his car decided to fall asleep in the last few laps and he had to limp home to a third place

australia 2022: yeah well this is the first race that went relatively smoothly tbh

austria 2022: break problems to the end, fighting with max, austria 2019 revenged do i need to say more

monaco 2024: after monaco 21 where he had a dns, and 2022 where ferrari screwed up the pitstops, he finally won his home gp

monza 2024: started fourth and made an awesome one stop work

austin 2024: started fourth again and overtook 3 cars on the first lap

silverstone 2026: lost the lead with three laps to go in 2021, got screwed over by ferrari yet again in 2022, overtook kimi at the start, scared of losing to kimi after his pit stop, safety car, WIN in 2026!

he’s strong and resilient and none of it ever comes easy to him but he will always bounce back❤️

No because you don't understand. Charles has had nearly half a dozen hellish races after the spring break, had his brakes changed mid season, a software update that fucked up the car, had two DNFs, the entirety of the media telling the world that Ferrari had made a mistake in re-signing him and that he should play second driver to his teammate. And what did he do? He won the British grand prix - a race where has faced heartbreak multiple times in the past, a race where nobody wanted him to win, on a track where his teammate is famously GOATed, all as the 16th Ferrari driver to ever win Silverstone which also happened to be Ferrari's 250th win in F1. He figured out a car that was developed against his preferences in less than a month. I am so so incredibly proud of him. Charles fucking Leclerc the driver that you are. It's been an absolute honor being your fan and I will never stop believing in you

when i say these cars have neutralized the greats of this sport i am not doing it to joke and haha giggle giggle about it. they have plucked out anything special they can do and the bare minimum gets the average driver ahead with the better engine

you can agree or disagree about charles but you can't take away the fact that he is one of the most remarkable qualifying drivers this sport has ever seen and he is acknowledging he can't do much. what does that say about the state of this sport?

i think the worst thing about it all is that charles never felt this lost with a car not even the sf23 made him this resigned

he knew switching brakes wouldn't solve half of the issue and he warned us about it even in monaco lmfao they've intrinsically fucked him and made sure to neutralize anything special he could do

this isn't even a conspiracy it's just ferrari making sure to pursue mediocrity over anything i mean they are above all stupid and they are going to milk that one win in barcelona until the end of the season because it's all they're going to get

i can’t find it in myself to give paragraphs long explanations but charles is so uncomfortable with this car it genuinely kills me like it’s so so so obvious for anyone w two eyes and half a brain cell to see. he has to adapt to new brake discs he’s never used before in his life out of nowhere and on top of that his car also has problems every single weekend. the brake situation is what makes me want to rip my hair out because his braking style makes up so so much of his racing style and that’s no longer being affected only by the new regs and the energy deployment but also by the new discs he has to adapt to like it’s just so frustrating to see.
