Why I am suddenly back? Well, our most recent podcast episode on Lyra in Pop Culture seems to be cursed. We've recorded it twice and had fatal errors. Twice.

So, this week we'll do something a little different. I made a visual post of our Lyra: Pop Culture Superstar and recorded a shorter solo companion pod for the post.

However, I dislike the "lyra" brand use here considering... well... Orpheus. Lyra's Lyres and Other Stringed Instruments Shop (... i know, it's a lil lazy, BUT, my alternative was just the world "Lyracal," which I couldn't make into anything good...)

Jordan's: Lyra Video game -- think Guitar Hero (but with a Lyre) meets Zelda meets Hades. The ultimate prize?! Your LYRE in the night sky! Jordan had a very detailed storyline, which I'll try to tell yo more about on the pod (and if we ever recover the audio, we'll be sure to release it!).

That tree across the street is doing spring time tree things. It sounds like a beehive because bees (and others) are busy visiting every single flower and getting that sweet nectar. It smells good, too.

I found a butterfly today, sitting on the window frame in the hallway outside my apartment. I gently harassed it until it left.

It's called a common brimstone in English, or Zitronenfalter in German, both in reference to the bright, brilliant yellow of its wings when they are open.

At first, I mistook it for a piece of a leaf. When it's sitting on a branch, it must be near impossible to spot.

I was visiting my parents this weekend, my mom had gotten her hands on these lovely flowers. I'm not a big fan of cutting flowers' roots off and putting them in a vase, but these *are* really beautiful.

I played around with Bing's image generator, and I asked for picture of a rabbit eating a fox. This was *not* what I had expected. Not at all.
