Appreciation Post!!

Hello! It’s been a little over a year since I’ve decided to get back on tumblr, and exactly one year since I’ve posted this drawing of The Boss in space.

I remember this being a pretty symbolic post, where I decided to start fresh and to start posting regularly after obliterating my old blog, to continue where I left off. I even used the same blog layout! It’s p cringy but here’s a screenshot of my old art blog I found on the internet archives. I might need a new theme soon haha

I’ve always had anxiety issues as long as I can remember, but they started getting really bad and I would experience a great deal of anxiety about what kind of content I posted, ramble posts like these, and even what I reblogged and liked, etc. Not to mention talking to people. I also often feared that not interacting enough could be perceived as rudeness and that added to my worries. I’m v shy and it’s a shame because there are lots of people here I would like to talk to. (Please don’t be afraid to talk to me btw! Talk to me about anything, weird things, cool things!)

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came across my content and for being so supportive, as well as putting up w my anxious tags. I know I haven’t said it often enough but I really appreciate it. It’s difficult to post things without thinking about whether it’s relevant or whether it’s something people would want to see, but you guys have made this easier for me and for that I am very grateful. I’ll try to feel more comfortable posting the kind of content I want to post as well as text posts, not to mention interacting w people and just talking more in general.
