Turns out having a newfound half-brother comes with unsolicited opinions about your uneventful love life this started as just an exercise and turned into a ten days hell for some reason lmaooooo As a big fan of the campfire scene with Roran and Eragon at the beginning of brisingr, I wanted to give my own personal rendition of an hypothetical equivalent scene but with Murtagh.....please god let him and saphira fight 24/7 because it would be so fucking funny

i may or may not have made most of these TODAY. I'm sorry guys this is the most creative i've been in months helppppp anyways this is the last update from the dads i think, we gotta go back to regular scheduling but i think the thing that fascinates me the most about their lore is that so much is left to the reader's imagination so we can just headcanon shit for a while lol (like for example the dragons hating eachother. completely made up on vibes)

One thing i wish they didn't explain in Murtagh is the mask murtagh was wearing during Nasuada's torture scenes.

I just loved the idea of galbatorix's extra ass having murtagh look like the fucking phantom of the opera for no reason

Okay so I actually locked in and did a lineup of *some* of the main characters approximately in between Brisingr and Inheritance!! These took me ages and I got the idea for the frames about 30 minutes ago so sorry if some sizing is messed up (for example I think Nasuada is not as proportionate to the frame compared to the others but we will all pretend you didn't see it!)

Anyways in order of appearance we have: Eragon, Arya (the only one i didn't draw from scratch bc i liked the original drawing too much lol), Murtagh (who gets his own goth villain frame), Nasuada, Roran, Orik and Oromis! enjoyyyyy

I remembered how in Eldest Eragon and Saphira would sometines swap places and take lessons with Glaedr and Oromis respectively. I like to think they tried this approach with Murtagh and Thorn as well but with *slightly* different results
