Paranormal pizza?
âUh, itâs the name of my pizza place. You really havenât heard of it? It has like the best pizza  in Klamenth Falls.â
âWhat the- why are you in my room?â
âYou didnât see anything!â
âI-uh...yeah okay. I wonât tell anyone, but seriously, why are you in here?â
âWhat the- why are you in my room?â

âItâs stupid.â he mumbled, clearing his throat in the struggle to regain control of his emotions. Flynn couldnât believe he let himself get into this state in front of someone. Usually if he was upset he locked himself up in his room till he felt better. âHot chocolate sounds great though.â
âAw, come on. Donât be so rough on yourself. Thereâs a reason for every feeling.â He was no expert, but he didnât want Flynn to feel bad over⊠having emotions. âYes, take a load off, this is the good stuff. No powder and tap water in this cup.â He handed it to Flynn with a grin. âCould you use some company, Flynn?â
âYeah but the reasons are stupid.â He mumbled softly, but smiled when he was handed the warm cup. It smelled amazing, and just the comfort of the drink in his hands made him feel a little better. âI mean, I donât want to bother you, you donât have to, Iâm sure youâve got other stuff going on and things to do.â
nottheghostbusters:
âUm, I mean, no, not really.â He croaked. âIâm not hurt or sick or anything like that.â Flynn cleared his throat. âI-I just gotta get back in the swing of things; I hate this time of year.â
âThat makes two of us,â Kurtis said taking a sip of his beer. Though Kurtis had always hated this time of year, even as a child. While most kids were hoping to get toys under the tree, as a child he was hoping that holidays would be over and fast. ââWant a beer? Always helps me.â
Flynn gave a weak smile, glad he wasnât the only one not fond of the holidays. He wiped angrily at his eyes with the heel of his hand before sitting down and clearing his throat. He usually wasnât much of a drinker, alcohol usually lead to him doing things heâd regret in the morning, but what the hell...
âYâknow, a beer actually sounds really good.â

âIâm fine. Nothing âs wrong.â
âReally?â Mads asked, tilting her head. âBecause you donât look it.â
He took a shaky breath, Flynn couldnât believe heâd let himself get this worked up; an in public no less. Crying in public was definitely going to be added to the top of his most embarrassing moments list. âI-Iâm fine, really, I just...itâs just that time of year. Thatâs all.â
âIâm fine. Nothing âs wrong.â
âThe look on your face tells me other wise. Now whatâs up?â The doctor asked the man, crossing his arms over his chest. âYou in pain?â
âUm, I mean, no, not really.â He croaked. âIâm not hurt or sick or anything like that.â Flynn cleared his throat. âI-I just gotta get back in the swing of things; I hate this time of year.â

It had been his brotherâs idea for him to go out, get some drinks, have some fun. But his idea of fun was curling up at home with peppermint hot chocolate and watching the ball drop. But here he was, in his old suit he was surprised he still fit in; watching people bounce to the beat around him. As out of place as he felt, he was smiling; this was exciting.
âI donât really know either!â He called over the pulse of the music, taking a swig of the drink that had been shoved into his hand a moment before.
One look at him and Mylene could tell he felt as out of place as she did. She even let herself think she might not be the only one who didnât do this sort of thing regularly. âAre you a newbie to the whole New Yearâs Eve tradition too?â she asked him. âBecause Iâm totally clueless about this stuff, and it would make me feel a lot better if I wasnât the only one.â
âIâm a newbie to this sort of party in general.â He laughed, glad he wasnât the only one trying to figure out how all this craziness worked. âYou are definitely not the only one.â Flynn grinned, though the loud music made him feel like his voice was even quieter; he knew he should at least try and get her name. âIâm Flynn.â
âIâm fine. Nothing âs wrong.â
âI brought hot chocolate?â Shelby offered, quite concerned for the fellow small business ownerâthe shy brother at that. Something he could relate to. âWe donât gotta talk about it⊠but I am gonna ask, just in case, whatâs up?â
âItâs stupid.â he mumbled, clearing his throat in the struggle to regain control of his emotions. Flynn couldnât believe he let himself get into this state in front of someone. Usually if he was upset he locked himself up in his room till he felt better. âHot chocolate sounds great though.â

âW-Well happy Day of Creation then.â He replied earnestly. âHonestly, I donât really get why we celebrate birthdays. Just another year closer to death.â
â is that how you see the celebration of your birth?? â eden asked, tilting their head in curiosity. â my kind normally see birthdays as an activity of HUBRIS⊠but, i do not find the harm in them. however, i can see with such a thought how they could be dreaded, although time may be an illusion. â
Birthdays had always been weird for Flynn, he wasnât much for parties, all the attention on him; but he liked the cake and pizza, the presents too. âAn illusion?â He started, confused. âYeah, I guess now that Iâm older; getting older isnât something Iâm excited about.â
âIâm fine. Nothing âs wrong.â
â ⊠yes, angels do have birthdays, you could say ⊠although, they are often referred to as DAYS OF CREATION.  ⊠they are often not celebrated, however ⊠today, the sixth of january, coincidentally, is the day of my own creation ⊠â
âW-Well happy Day of Creation then.â He replied earnestly. âHonestly, I donât really get why we celebrate birthdays. Just another year closer to death.â
The new year had already rung in, and this was the first time in her life Mylene got to go out for the occasion. She had snuck off when midnight struck, not wanting to be grabbed and kissed by a stranger just because of some tradition, but now she was back at the party enjoying various shots.Â
âI donât know how late people stay out, but I think I could stay up forever.â

âNobody should be spending the holidays alone, at least not without some tasty free food!â He mumbled before holding out a still warm pizza box. âItâs-uh Christmas dinner, it has ham and little potatoes and greens on it. It-Itâs pretty good.â
Marcy nodded her head âYouâre right, absolutely.â She giggled, shaking her head in amusement âChristmas dinner pizza, thatâs so creative â oh my goodness.â She took the pizza âWould you like to have a slice with me?â She offered with a smile.
He felt his  face burn, he hadnât been expecting an offer like that and he was trying not to read much into it. âOh, uh...yeah! I mean, sure. Thatâd be fine.â

At what age did your muse lose their virginity?
âHahaâŠahâŠI havenât.â
nottheghostbusters:
âBut Peking isnât a pun, the point is it has to be funny.â He grimaced, not wanting anyone to be offended by what would otherwise be a tasty creation. âWhat about Dog Got Your Turkey? Since thatâs what happened in the movie?â
â that could work⊠but youâd have to put turkey on your pizza or something. maybe shred up a spice to look like dog hair. â the dragon couldnât help but shift awkwardly, bad at thinking up ideas that would contribute. â âŠyeah. thatâd be⊠a good idea. â
âMan I was really wanting to go for a Chinese pizza. That sounds really good though, but I already kind of a have a seasonal turkey dinner pizza in November. Maybe Iâll just go with Christmas Story Pizza, then I can have the peking duck, I could make it a thin crust pizza, something really flaky; sort of echo a fortune cookie texture...â
