Erica! The name sounds familiar. It’s nice to meet you!
Does it? I was one of Derek's first beta's. Grew up here and then well. I was gone for a bit.
"After my death? It was kind of like waiting in Purgatory. I wasn’t there for long cause the first time I was actually just hibernating and the second time I transitioned into a werewolf. But even for those few minutes it felt like this was what eternity was going to be and all the sadness started to creep in."
"Come on, Erica. Do you really think Derek does anything without thinking it through? If he kicked Lahey out, there was probably a reason. I mean you were dead, right? And so was Boyd. I was gone, so Lahey was his only Beta. Any chance Derek was saving him, not losing his mind? Derek may be cold sometimes and off-putting, but he has a heart somewhere. He’s not Peter."
"I don't... remember. At all. I still have trouble remembering people if I'm honest. I woke up in the woods, barely remembering my own name and that I lived in Beacon Hills. It's taken a few weeks... except I can't remember the events leading to my...well. You know. But I can't be sure how much I do remember. If it was an hour before... or a year. Well. It can't be a year, but you get what I mean."
"In anger? I do. Derek is only human. Well. Wolf, but you get what I mean. People act out of anger, where they might regret it later. I know he's not Peter, but you and I both know the torture Isaac went through. Even if it was done for a good reason, it could have been done a hell of a lot better."
"Well, not to be an asshole, but that was a bitchy comment. Well, dying three times kind of changes your perspective on things. I might still be an asshole but I know when to not be."
"Lahey can’t live here because it’s too dangerous. I’m too dangerous. At least until Derek helps me learn control. A different kind of control than what is normal.”
"Hm. Well at least we fall into the roles well. And it seems you have two on me. But in all... seriousness. Do you remember... after your death or anything?"
"Isaac was forced to leave before you ever came back. I was told Derek snapped after I died. Forced him away. Which pisses me off as Isaac trusted Derek, he was pack. You don't do that to pack."
"I guess so, but he’s had time to work on his fighting skills. Sadly even I’m admitting I can’t take him on. Is it odd because I caused so much trouble, death, and damage to the town? Thanks for the reminder, I still have nightmares about it."
"I live in his loft. I didn’t exactly have a choice since I came to Beacon Hills specifically to find him. Derek showed me better. We have a connection that wasn’t there before. Like, he’s a mentor. Or a big brother."
"No, that actually wasn't it. I was meaning... your well. Not to be a bitch, but you were sort of the asshole always. Even before you were a wolf. Well not asshole. Just... self-obsessed I'd say. I meant nothing towards all of the... events during that time."
"So you can live there yet Isaac can't? How interesting. But that's good. If he give you that... grounding, a connection then you should pursue it."
I intend to live forever, or die trying.

"Not anymore. Derek told me that McCall is a ‘true alpha’, whatever that’s suppose to mean. We don’t hurt humans, that’s what makes you a hunter’s target."
"Yeah…I want him dead. You can tell in the air, it feels heavy and cold. I’d hate to say it, but none of us are gonna be ready to handle it if we don’t team up. I’ve grown stronger just being with Derek, and I was wrong about doing my own thing. It’s time I make up for my wrongdoings."
"Oh yes. But that doesn't mean he can instantly fight. Scott always had it in him. It didn't mean that Derek didn't kick his ass. It just means if they were both trained, Scott could his own. But Derek has had all his life. But Scott does get creative. Trust me, Jackson. I'm well aware of that. I'm not going to go about hurting humans. Though I'll admit I find it a bit odd hearing that from you..."
"Exactly. By ourselves we're going to get swept away. You've been with Derek? That who keeping you in line- Wait. Wrong? I.... hm. I'm.. surprised. I.. well you are one of the least likely people I would have thought I'd hear that from, Jackson. " "Not that that it's bad hearing it."
Yep that’s me…
You haven’t heard anything bad about me I hope…
"No, nothing bad. Naomi mentioned you in brief conversation."
"I'm Erica by the way."
"You were also my friend.”
".... And you were, well, I suppose are mine as well."

"I doubt you could break either of them."
"I know that people who are supposed to be dead are alive again. Like Matt Daehler, unfortunately. Though maybe this time I’ll be the one to kill him. Uh, you were dead and you’re not, so something’s up and it’s big. Bigger than a Kanima or the Darach."
"Maybe not Derek, but I think I could at least do some damage to Scott. Though I was under the impression we were speaking in general of people. You know. Humans. Breakable people."
"Matt is alive? Lovely. And I'm aware of that. Know one seems to know what's going on. But I'll agree. This is.. big. Something that has the power to not only bring one person back but multiple people?"
"You’re a werewolf. Throw them around until they cave."
"Oh. I missed that then. Nothing you should worry about. Unless someone tells you to, then you should run for the…hills. You missed what I missed then. Neither one of us was around but I’m sure Derek would fill you in if you asked. You were his Beta after all."
"Perhaps. Though I'd hate to break one..."
"So let's cut the shit, Jackson. You know something. Anything right now is better than nothing. And technically you were supposed to be his as well. And then you turned into a scary lizard person that seeped paralyzing poison from his claws. Fun times those were."

" Don’t — " She whispered. It was so long ago that it almost didn’t matter. While Derek did deserve it, she knew that Erica had no chance against Derek. Erica’s eyes scared her. Werewolves scared Naomi full stop. She was just a loser who saw ghosts. Erica was able to rip her to shreds.
Nodding softly, she twisted her hands together. “He’s gone. I haven’t felt his aura in a while so he might be gone… But maybe he’ll come back?” Naomi said hopefully. She remembered how close the two of them had been. Boyd was a good person and she wished that she had the kind of power to bring him back for Erica.
”Oh..” Part of her wanted to offer Erica a real house. With a bed and warm food. “If you ever get — “ Bored? Sick? "— then you can always stay with me." Her stomach twisted. She wouldn’t be able to tell anyone that Erica was alive. Everyone would just assume that she had just seen Erica’s ghost. Not the real Erica.
Erica heard Naomi's heart rate pick up, filing it away to remember so as not to scare her. "I wouldn't take him on, you know that. " She shook her head. At the news of Boyd's death, Erica looked down, closing her eyes against the sting of tears. "I guess if I can... so can he. Was.. How did he die?" She knew it wasn't pretty, it took a lot to kill a werewolf. Though with that thought... with her death. And Boyd's... perhaps Derek's actions with Isaac weren't as... random. With their deaths, he would have lost a lot of his pack. And as alpha, would feel responsible, especially as he'd turned them.
"You look like you're going to puke..." Erica murmured, studying the other, quiet for almost a full minute before speaking. "You're not the only one who knows I'm alive, if that's any comfort. I just... need to talk to Derek more and see what the actual story is. Whether I died, or just went missing. Because missing is a whole lot easier than coming back to life." She said with a wince.
Got a figure like a pinup, Got a figure like a doll. Don’t care if you think I’m dumb, I don’t care at all. Candy bear sweetie pie, wanna be adored. I’m the girl you’d die for. "You should ask McCall or Derek. I don’t really know the whole story about them."
"What do you mean? You’ve met another hybrid?"
"No one wants to give me information..."
"I was actually giving a backhanded comment about your glare, Jackson.... What do you mean 'hybrid'? I feel like I might as well be a clueless human with all the things I've missed and it's beginning to get frustrating...."
If you didn't remember something happening, was it because it never had happened? Or because you wished it hadn't?
