"I think I have a good idea." she taunted. "It seems your soon to be wife has trouble keeping herself safe, and you have trouble protecting her. I would watch your back if I were you, uncle." There was a menacing hint in Ikki’s words. She was planning something in her insane head.
" You have no idea what you’re talking about, kid. Lin’s absolutely fine.” Which- wasn’t exactly true. She was still recovering from when she’d been attacked a few months before, and she was already running herself ragged because of the upheaval in the city.
" C’mon kid, your parents miss you. Why don’t you at least… Go visit them or something?"

Whispers filled her fragile mind trying to convince Ikki to give up. Her heart rate began to increase as she pulled away into the shadows. "They......don't want me...." she whispered to herself. "They....don't want me.....but maybe they do...."
Don't fight. Go home. Let them take care of you. It's over. Come back.
The whispers grew louder in Ikki's head. She brought her hands up gripping her head while snarling low. "Shut up.....Shut up.....Just....shut up!" Snapping her head up Ikki stared at Saikhan darkly. Her face twisted up in pain and rage. "YOU KNOW NOTHING! DON'T YOU TRY TO UNDERSTAND ME! HOW DARE YOU TRY TO TAKE ME BACK!" Feeling like a cornered animal Ikki was looking for a way to escape. The walls around her began to close in. Her anxiety was rising to a dangerous level.

" I’d recognize that voice anywhere- Ikki… What have they done to you?"
"………..They……they did nothing…." Ikki turned her head away from her aunt. She didn’t expect this. She didn’t want this. Ikki never thought that she would bump into her aunt. If Kya was here then that meant Bumi was sure to be around.
"You…..don’t want to know what they did to me…..you wouldn’t care. You wouldn’t care just like my father and mother didn’t care….."
" Ikki… I know that’s not true. You wouldn’t-” She had heard things, of course. From Tenzin and Pema and others, about what had happened to her niece- her precious little niece. They’d thought her dead at first, but… She wasn’t. She was a weapon, a tool. Kya had hoped that perhaps she could try and save her, but…
The healer wasn’t sure if she was too late or not.
" Of course I care, and your parents- they miss you so much, sweetheart. They just want you home safe.”
Turning around sharply Ikki snarled to Kya in a threatening way. “Shut up!” she hissed. Her dull grey eyes glared darkly to Kya. Her fingers curled into a tight fist trembling in rage and fear.
"They left me! They left me! They didn’t care for me! They left me to die! But….it was Amon and the equalist…that….saved me." Ikki closed her eyes as a dull pain began to form around her left temple. Where Amon had placed a device on her when she was little to brainwash her.
"I…..I have….n…no home…" Ikki voice trembled trying to hide the pain.
" They didn’t leave you, darling. They’ve been looking for you for a very long time, I promise. They just… didn’t know how to find you.” Kya said softly, stepping forward to lean against the bars of her cell. She reached out, wrapping a hand around one of the bars gently. ” Sweetie… I just want to help you.” She murmured, heart absolutely aching at the pain her niece seemed to be experiencing.
Squinting her eyes Ikki didn't look at her aunt. She was thankful she was wearing her mask so that she wouldn't see the tears. Breathing quickly she was trying not to remember. It was hurting her. The pain was growing stronger and Ikki brought up her hand trying to rub it away. "S.....stop...talking..." she whispered. "Please....st....st...stop talking.....It...it hurts.....when...when you talk...."
