Same café, same order. 🤓 I've been a digital notes girlie for sooo long that writing on paper feels so awkward now. 😭

Packed all my stuff for my first overnight/stand-by shift. Because I live far away from the faculty and you need to be at the clinic in 20 minutes for a stand-by, I get to sleep at the Farm Animal Clinic! Almost feels like a little holiday, with the exception of getting called in the middle of the night for emergency surgery.

After a long day filled with lameness exams, I figured I deserved a little bubble tea treat. Track training in the evening for the first time in a while! Hopefully I'll get to go more often, but no guarantees with my current schedule 🙊

First week of my equine rotations done! Got to practice our farrier skills (this one hoof took me an hour), bandaging, suturing and rectal exam on a model. Super busy, super fun!

Final week done!! Got to work on our suturing, in the context of eye surgery. Also saw some more CT scans and surgeries, so a pretty fun last week!

Lessons from Pim with Ála! (And Frelsi, but no photos unfortunately). We are really making progress! She's relaxing much more and we're finding the tolt so easy now 🥰
