82. Seeking. Where do You want me to be? Who do You say I am? What are You calling me to accomplish? Every day is a learning experience, none of which I regret. But at the end of the day I still question where I am, and though I've gotten better at it, I'm still easily sucked into things I don't believe in. Ideologies and lifestyles that sicken me to the core. I don't want my life to revolve around materialism and debate. I want to know the Love of my Savior. I want to recite His words into the valleys and hear them echo into the world. I want to find Him in the midst of silence thousands of feet up above. God you are my focus, my everything. My eyes are on you, and with you I will be made complete.
78. Onward. If you stumble, remember why you started climbing in the first place. Recently, my urge for adventure has been through the roof. After hiking Blanca Lake earlier this week, I realized how much I miss the outdoors and how freeing it is to be surrounded by so much beauty and silence. After several miles of switchbacks, I grew exhausted and irritated that I hadn't reached the top yet. But when I finally saw the sun setting behind the mountains, I was filled with nothing but joy. The physical challenge of hiking gives me so momentum for my everyday young adult life. It reminds me that my struggles are only part of a much bigger picture that outweighs the sweat and bruises. This week I decided to take some steps forward in my life and set goals, so here they are! 1. Hike 300 miles within the next year. I will be keeping track from this month forward and will let you guys in on my endeavor. This will help me keep myself in check 😅 So far I've got 15 miles down this week! 2. Save up for a newer car. 3. Discipline myself with money, relationships, and school. 4. Continue to build my relationship with Christ. This one is so dear to my heart, and the one that will ultimately help me accomplish all my other goals. I may sound a little crazy, but I'm determined to keep going, and all of you are such amazing supporters! Love you guys! Also, I got a credit card today, pray for my soul guys.....
