All of your mlp asks got me thinking;

ShadowMilk Cookie with a Nightmare Moon/Luna SO.

So hear me out:

Luna & Celestial are witches, maybe they’re in charge of light & dark elemental cookies respectively.

Luna turns against celestial due to Cookies of the light element often being seen as hero’s whereas those with darkness are shunned.

Lunas banishment is being turned into a Cookie (Nightmare Belladona Cookie? Deadly Nightshade Cookie? Nightmare Cookie?)

She meets the Fount through Luna/Nightmare visiting him in one of his dreams. (Very rare due to all his responsibilities)

They’d start a slow burn friendship to lovers. Since they are both touch starved & untrusting of new people/cookies.

Don’t know where it’s go during his time as Fount. Maybe they meet in the spire? Maybe Luna is trapped in the dream realm.

Here’s the fun bit:

During the Beasts imprisonment, Luna is redeemed. She’s found by PV (gotta add some lovely conflict between PV & SM) & freed from her corruption by the Light of Truth.

Maybe the light led PV to her from their interactions with the Fount.

Nobody knows she’s a witch (still banished), so maybe this can become a point of conflict.

Since she’s a witch freed of her corruption by a cookie & WL was a cookie corrupted/split by the witches.

Anyway, she travels with the gang to Beast Yeast where she’s inevitably reunited with SM.

Love the parcel of The Fount of Truth in love with The Witch of Nightmares & The Beast of Deceit in love with The Cookie of Dreams.

Ooh, I love these ideas!

Perhaps you were initially banished just to Earthbread in Cookie forms...and then, around the time the Beasts were sealed, you were additionally trapped (by other Cookies) in the dream realm. Pure Vanilla undoing your corruption also freed you from that imprisonment.

Once you've been freed from your corruption, I imagine that you choose to stay in Earthbread, though you may have had a chance to become a Witch again...perhaps joining Moonlight Cookie in guarding everyone's dreams!

I imagine that in the past, you and Shadow Milk (post-corruption) were an Evil Power Couple. He wants very badly to return to those days with you...to him, its just another thing that Pure Vanilla stole from him!

If it came out that you're actually a Witch, he'd feel...conflicted. On the one hand...you clearly aren't one of the ones that sealed (or rather, abandoned) him. But you still hid your past from him, and there's been a pattern of Witches hurting him...!

How would their reunion after the sealing of the beasts go?

You were waiting in the spot you used to meet with the Fount of Knowledge, years ago. The Witches' home (this one, at least) had been abandoned for a while...but still, you would drop by and wait sometimes. Waiting to see if your friend would make an appearance again. It seemed that he had vanished around the same time as the Witches had...

...it seemed that today was yet another day he wouldn't come. You sighed, debating about staying for the night just in case...

When suddenly, with a loud bang, the rusty oven door flew open! You were quickly on your feet, heading towards it hopefully. Could it be...?

A blue Cookie burst out of the oven, blazing with shadowy magic! He whipped around in all directions, hackles raised and looking for a fight...freezing when he saw you. Slowly, he floated up to land on the counter...his magic dying down as the two of you stared at each other.

He was...different. His hair had eyes instead of stars, and he was now wearing a jester's outfit, but...there was no denying who this was. "...Light Milk Cookie...?" you said, tentatively, hopefully. "Is it really you?"

"...I...could say the same to you!" he said with a laugh, looking at you as though he was seeing a ghost. He said your name, almost reverently, and you slowly nodded.

You quickly crossed the distance between you, holding a hand out to him...stopping inches away before actually touching him. Giving him the choice of whether to bridge the gap.

"I waited for you to see you again, for a long time," you said softly. "I wasn't sure if I ever would, but..."

He stared at you with wide eyes...and suddenly surged forward, wrapping his arms around two of your fingers in a tight hug, nuzzling your knuckles.

"...I missed you," he said softly. "You...you really didn't leave...?"

"Of course not!" you said. "...well, I mean, I had to leave the room sometimes, but I always kept checking, just in case."

He let out a choked laugh, pressing further against you. You carefully wrapped your other hand around him, lifting him up to hold him against your chest...close to your heart. He turned to nuzzle into you, though didn't let go of your fingers.

"I missed you, too," you said softly, bending to place a feather-light kiss on top of his head. He froze for a moment...then then sighed, slumping against you.

I genuinely think Mouthwashing fandom is a good example on how real life misogyny is very wired on people brains and influenced how they engage with fictional misogyny.

You have a story about a woman being assaulted and telling a man she trusted but being dismissed because he is friends with the attacker, and people fixate on shipping her with either of those men.

You have a story about how men that downplay their male friends violence, assume neutrality is the safer option, unintentionally help create an environment that's unsafe to vulnerable people, at a risk becoming a victim themselves. And people make it about toxic yaoi.

You have a character kill herself because she didn't want birth the child of her abuser. And people make AUs where she happily keep the baby.

Misogyny isn't just "I hate women", it's also downplaying their trauma, defending those who caused it, and reducing them to mothers or wives against their wishes under this idea of what womanhood is about.

I don't think we can separate fandom misogyny from it's real world influence, not yet.
