often a problem I see people have is that if they are part of a community and regularly seek out content from that community they fail to recognize that they will of course naturally see more issues related to that community and less from ones they aren't part of.

it's like if I lived in a town that was the birthplace of the first Worm Ska band and went to all the Worm Ska concerts and sought out Worm Ska merch I will of course be more familiar with Worm Ska issues than, say, someone who's into Beetle Jazz. So it would of course be silly for me to see someone talking about Beetle Jazz issues and go "well I've never seen any of these supposed Beetle Jazz issues, why aren't we talking about Worm Ska instead that's clearly much more important," just as it would be silly for them to do that for me. Both Beetle Jazz and Worm Ska can be important, and maybe we could listen to each other and form a beautiful genre blend...
