started this piece more than a month ago (at the start of the schemers table), and was continuously inspired by luis' character, as well as his discussion of the character (where he mentions that he hopes that the character "soars"). azune is a character that carries memory, and duty to keep people alive and living in said memory; like stars, they're long gone but continue to shine above us, and in that way each can be interpreted as a person in his life worth remembering (notably, thjazi and the three members of azune's family that he’s had to leave behind).

i was also partially inspired by witch hat atelier and the flow of movement that shirahama evokes in her work, especially in clothing. it's a story that's impacted me, and i felt that the influence (one that involves art, grief, and that question of what makes you “you”) really suited azune, especially when it involves a character that struggles in youth and older age.

Woof y’all in just a little over 3 hours I gave birth to my child ‘Critical role campaign 4 episode 25’… it wasn’t easy.. ya know I had some favorite character going down complications and she came with a side of faking your own death to then stage a fake resurrection, but she’s here now!
