It wasn’t often that Hizashi woke up before Shouta.

While they both shared a job that started far too early as well as having jobs that ended far too late, on their days off of teaching, Shouta was still an early riser while Hizashi treasured his few extra moments of sleep.

Not today.

Shouta had broken multiple bones in his arm during his patrol earlier in the week, and for once was actually listening to Recovery Girl’s advice and staying in bed.

(It might not have necessarily been by choice; some degree of his extreme sleepiness probably came from the amount of healing she’d done the previous day.)

The Meaning of Romance

Shouta is learning Japanese Sign Language with the help of Hizashi, but he "says" the infamous three words before Shouta can understand him.
