We are currently working on the ones that need to be filled, but seeing as school has just started for most of us and some are having technical and/or environmental (hurricanes) difficulties, things will be a bit slow. Prompt: (Anon) Eren and Armin on their wedding day? Maybe one of them is feeling nervous about the ceremony beforehand and the other comforts them
“Armin, honey. I can’t do this.” Eren announced as he paced the stretch of their hotel suite. The man in question, had just stepped out of the bathroom, steam billowing after him. He stopped mid-step.
“What do you mean you ‘can’t do this’?” Armin cautioned with narrowed eyes.
"I can’t go through with this.” Eren continued pacing the room, avoiding Armin’s gaze and doing that thing he does when he’s nervous: fiddling with his fingers and biting at the cuticles. "I don’t think I’m worthy.”
“Eren, no!” The blonde rushed over to grab at Eren’s hands, "You just got those done!”
“I don’t think I’m ready. What if I fuck this up?”
“Eren, we rehearsed this 20 times last night. You won’t mess up. No one will mess up and if they did it’s okay—”
There was a knock on the door and a familiar voice spoke up from the other side, “Are you guys up already?”
Armin dropped Eren’s hands and headed to the door, where Mikasa stood in sweats and a t-shirt. Her dark hair was pushed high in an elegant bun and her makeup was already done, “Morning, Min. The photographers just got in and they're with the rest wedding party. They want to start setting up for the 'getting ready' shots. Is Eren up?”
“Yeah he is but..”Armin shifted to the side to show a very nervous Eren, standing on the balcony, biting his nails again, “Just give us a few minutes and we’ll go over to the bridal suite?"
Mikasa looked between the two of them for a moment before nodding in understanding, “Alright. I’ll let them set up the shots with the wedding party getting ready and let them know you two will be down soon.”
“Thanks, Mika.” Armin smiled apologetically, closing the door after she turned to leave. He sighed.
“I feel like I’m going to be sick.” Eren stated. Armin made his way over to him, trying to think of ways to calm his fiancé down. "I am going to be sick. I’m gonna throw up.”
“Eren…baby. Look at me. Look. At. Me.” Armin grabbed the side of his head, cradling him in his hands and forcing the man to look at him. “Everything is going to be okay. You’re just nervous and stressed out but you don’t have to be. We’re in this together."
“But you’re so beautiful and perfect, you’re practically glowing right now, and I want this day to be beautiful and perfect for you and I’m just a nervous wreck that can’t keep his shit together and I feel sick to my stomach and my heart is beating several miles a minute and I—”
“This day will be beautiful and perfect for the both of us.”Armin interrupted, stopping Eren’s rant from going any further, by squishing his face between his hands. "It’s like that right now because I get to wake up in this gorgeous hotel room, overlooking the most crystal clear ocean I have ever seen, right next to my gorgeous future husband. And later on, we’re going to be surrounded by our friends and family as we officially vow to be together forever. It doesn’t get more beautiful and perfect than that don’t you think?”
“You’re too good for me you know.” Eren murmured between the pursed lips of his squished face, "I don’t deserve such an angel as you. I’ll screw something up during the ceremony.”
“I chose you. I want you and no one else, Eren Jaeger. You won’t mess up. You’re so smart and funny and even though you can be a little clumsy and have two left feet when you dance, you will be fine and you are more than worthy of me as I am more than worthy of you. We’re worthy of each other and we’ll get through this day together as we have gotten through every single hurdle and triumph in our lives. Today is beautiful and perfect. You are beautiful and perfect, too.”
Eren stared into Armin’s unwavering blue gaze. Years of trust, understanding, support and affection, all of which, were the very foundation of his and Armin's relationship, ever since they were children. It was more than enough for Eren to finally relaxing into his lover's touch with a sigh of relief. He rested his hands on the blonde’s waist and leaned forward so that their foreheads touched.
“I love you, honey. Thank you.”
Armin stepped closer and wrapped his arms around Eren’s neck, “And I love you, baby. I can’t wait to call you mine…”
Eren chuckled, placing a chaste kiss on Armin’s button nose. “I’m already yours.”
“Yeah but it’ll be official.”
Eren held onto Armin a little tighter. He understood what Armin meant and knowing that he wanted the same. For Armin to be his...forever. “Speaking of official, they’re waiting for us, aren’t they?”
“Yeah, we should probably head down there since the photographer is here.”
Armin pulled away but kept a hand around the back of Eren’s neck, kneading the muscle there gently, "Will you be okay? No more being nervous?”
“I’m still nervous but I know you’re going to be there right with me.” Eren smiled.
