Nobody talks about how how zo & kotallo met eye to eye during the red raids. When you're talking to zo she said she was at barren light when the gates opened, she also talked about a teknath squad that climbed the mountains to get into barren light

Later on, when you talk to kotallo it is revealed that he was the one that led his squad up that mountain & into barren light, he was also the one that opened that door.

Meaning that they did see eachother, even if they didn't talk to eachohter they still knew eachother before aloy bringing the to bass gaia.
