If RuPaul and Michelle asked you to join them on the podcast would you do it?

Apparently I’m forbidden and I’m kinda pissed it even became a discussion point. I can’t control what people talk about but someone asked me on Tumblr if I would ever do it and I replied “YEP” because I listen to it. Then someone decided to repost it with “Your move, Ru” on Reddit and tag the producer of the show (ParagonPod). Producerman declined to elaborate but said it’s not any of their calls…which is funny to me because I thought Ru was Ru’s boss. 

I dunno what I ever did to Ru but whatever…and I’d definitely consider myself close with Michelle. My prob was never with Ru. My prob was with some of her team members - and you can’t right the ship until you know where it’s taking on water. World of Wonder has consistently lied to my face. Look at all the leaks and how shit gets out nowadays every season. My elimination was a fuckin secret and stayed that way. I’ve proved trustworthy with the important stuff. I mean people still don’t know the real reasons! Sure, I’ve said out of line stuff but, y’know, you reap what you sow. They should learn to treat people how they want to be treated. I almost said they “need to learn” but they don’t need to since there will always be hungry & thirsty people willing to work under their warped guidelines and one-sided deals. I mean I recorded Supermodel for the Bravo program Showdogs Moms & Dads (because engineer/tech told me they couldn’t get the rights to it for broadcast since Ru doesn’t own it even though it’s a WoW produced show- notice her biggest hit is never on RDR?) and was paid just $50 for like 4 hours of work. How is that fair? $50. I coulda made more sucking dick. Yet I went back and worked for them time and time again. They needed strippers for a party. DONE. They needed drama on a game show. DONE. They need a killer episode of Ring my Bell. DONE. But no more. I’d rather create my own content with a bedside manor I’ve adopted by watching other’s shortcomings. I dunno how many rooms I’ve been in with people moaning about jacked ideas, not getting their day rate with them, not getting credit, etc… I’m just the most visible. 

The good news is though is that inclusion on podcast is not gonna make me and it’s def not gonna break me. More good news is that I’ve got a lot of friends there who tell me that it’s just a select few who don’t like me. When my book comes out, I plan on setting up a food truck and delivering to any WoW employee who wants one a free copy along with donuts and coffee….well, coffee or T in this case.

p.s. When this gets reposted and discussed elsewhere, know that I’m not bitter. I just think open and honest discussions should be had instead of gossip and fibs. Also, this isn’t me trying to stir shit. Someone asked me a question and I answered it. I meant to only write one line but then I knew somebody would be all like “I thought you don’t talk about the show?” like a dick. I know for a fact that the final straw was me publicly mentioning I wasn’t on All-Stars because I guess it confirmed it was happening. I was volunteering at the camp for GLBT teens and didn’t want to have to cancel on them so I asked for an answer and WoW gave it to me with no stipulation that I had to be quiet about it. Then I hear I pissed them off by crunching some of their eggshells I didn’t know I was walking on. They then sent an email to all the girls requesting that they neither confirm or deny their participation. Y’know- to further string their fans along and hype their program (I’m not on the group list anymore). I love all the opportunities working with them has allowed me to capitalize on but I’m also less concerned with pleasing them and more concerned with the future. The future of my career. The future with me being happy and not worrying about getting sued. The future of DRAG. I’m loving the fact that I get to work with Bianca, Peaches Christ, #AAAGirls, Adore, Jackie Beat & the House of Edwards. They’re the future of drag. RuPaul’s Drag Race purports to find America’s Next Drag Superstar just like ANTM says they’re going to find a supermodel. Looking at the winners, they’ve def been wrong way more than they’ve been right. Not a read. #FACT
