My name is Ericka Darlene Hernández Vázquez. I graduated with my Associate's May 2015 from El Paso Comunity College, graduated from Mission Early College High School May 2016, and attended a year at University of Texas at El Paso. I'm an 18 year-old Film/Animation student, and would very much like to animate movies and videogames. My favorite animation studio thus far has to be Laika, as I adore stop motion and the effects you can achieve by working both digitally and with models. My favorite animated movie is The Secret of Kells. I wish I could tell you what my favorite movie overall is, but I can't pick out of the many I love! I've drawn for as long as I can remember, and feel it is one of my greatest passions, one that I would love to work in. I mainly draw traditionally, on paper, but have practiced a bit digitally, with a drawing tablet. I am Hispanic, with a Puerto Rican mother and a Mexican father, and lived in El paso for 18 years before I moved to Arlington, Texas, to pursue my dream at the University of Texas at Arlington. I like to think my hobbies include photography, editing, and watching trivia game shoes (I absolutely love Jeopardy). I also like to know about a multitude of things like astronomy and biology, simply because I find it fascinating enough to know about, but not enough to want to have my career in that field. That being said, one of my goals is to create a collegeiate level Science Bowl Tournament. If you don't know what that is, or would like to participate, feel free to shoot me an ask! Aside from that, I like to collect things, like marbles and gems, I like anime and manga, and the current show I'm watching is Mr. Robot.
