Reflecting back, 2 years ago today, when I made a promise to love and cherish this woman all the days of my life. I remember the advice so many married couples gave me leading up to the big day… They said “take in each moment.” And make sure you take a moment to look around the room and remember that all those people love you. The Lenten season begins. A lot has changed in a year. It’s a great reminder that with change comes uncomfortable circumstance. But in the same light it’s an opportunity for growth. I came to California to dance with the angels and dream how I want to. 2019 has been a year of transition, hardship and hope. We started the year with a death in the family, and throughout have been plagued by injuries and job woes. But there were bright spots of hope with friendships, weddings, pregnancies and epic adventures. The time has come to physically leave California, never forgetting the friends, lessons and accomplishments I’ve been blessed with along the way. It’s time to start the next chapter in the new year. It’s time to “re-find” my inner-Superman. That playful, always-creative kid, who embraces the adult side of life where responsibility and consistency also have a place. In the end I was taught by the angels to let go of my wants and trust in my true purpose. One year… and forever to go. And when we said Love | Laughter | Adventure we really meant it.
