@butcher--bird made this lovely character design for me and I finally got around to drawing her myself, I'm so so happy about her

Her name is Nora and she's a librarian/historian, also a 12 foot tall whale. Pinnacle of the term gentle giant.

She looks so crazy in the Dawn of Fire artstyle I love how weird and gnarly the Blubberflies look and all the translucence and almost sparkliness on the Cherubble itself, I also noticed between her bio on Wanderer Island and Epic Bleatnik's they seem to be associating her more with the sun, I think that's an interesting way to link her more to the fire element. Guess that makes her a daydreamer :)

The sound on Wanderer Island is lovely as well I could not be happier

What is your inspo for your ocs? If you had to make another monster out of a sea creature. What would it be?

Misty was based around me liking the idea of taking an animal's most iconic feature and making it weird in some way, in this case making a frog's tongue into a hand. The thought of her being a speedrunner came from me having recently watched a bunch of 2 player Super Mario Odyssey speedruns and thinking "wouldn't it be funny if she could use her tongue for that"

Zzzoey was a bit of a comfort oc, her being a ghost was meant to lend an idea of her always being there for you, even if you couldn't quite see it. Her outfit was based on the Sleep copy ability from Kirby, at least how it appeared in earlier Kirby games

There's a lot of really good picks for sea creatures out there, I've thought of a sea angel but if I needed to avoid gastropods outright I could see myself doing a giant phantom jelly, whale shark, or some kind of crab or octopus

sometimes I think about how devsisters learned I was falling out of cookie run and then made a character that was like scientifically crafted to appeal to as many of my tastes as they possibly could've in one fell swoop. i like this thing a tremendous amount shoutout to blue whale cookie
