The asks are canon, however. From Clover's perspective, all of these asks are coming from the undernet of either their universe or from other universes connected on the same multiversal network. any asks trying to claim to be from the worlds above(the world you’re reading this in) for now will be deleted. as well as any trying to explain that Clover exists within a game, and Web comic.

Clover was once a human child on the surface. Unfortunately, they were murdered by their abusive parents. their soul was captured, and later put into a robot body. Robots aren’t treated well on the surface. Especially if they’re not confirmed to be sapient. with humans being unable to see souls actively in a vessel. Clover would have to prove themselves conscious in order to get any respect from humanity. Eventually, their sense of justice drives them to find the fallen humans in the underground.
as will be shown in chapter 1 of the comic, they go through a very similar journey as human clovers with some differences like that, I’m talking more, and traveling with their new best friend Tuffet. after chapter 1, they get adopted by Martlet. hence why their last name is Cardinal.
Tuffet:

Species: Spider Monster

Class: Baker
Self proclaimed title: best Baker in the ruins
Tuffet is a spider monster that lives in the ruins. She looks up dearly to her aunt Muffet. wanting to be an amazing baker like her one day. aspiring to one day, surpass her baking abilities, and be the best baker in the entire underground!
She does not know that her aunt uses monster spiders in her pastries. As this is kept secret from the ruined spiders who only use non-monster spiders in pastries. In a previous timeline Flowey used to this fact to get Tuffet kill her aunt Muffet. Which was easier than you’d think given that like Undyne, Tuffet has an elevated DT level.
May add more characters at some point but not right now.
Lore:
Robots:
humans have the ability to make robots that are able to contain sapient consciousnesses. Like that of a human soul. unfortunately humans are in capable of seeing souls inside of a vessel. So sapient robots are often treated as if they weren’t.
there are robots that are enslaved by humans. Either built to do certain tasks, but becomes sapient later on. Or ones that were human, but that fact is kept hidden. (Like Clover)
However, things aren’t all bad. There are charities that provide robot bodies to children that die of cancer. Despite systemic injustices many robots have been able to live peacefully. and while it may be slow, things are getting better.
Child robots often ignore/don’t notice damage they have taken. to compensate for this, they are often given pain emulators that give them a small bit of pain whenever they actually hurt themselves. with that they now they notice damage they have taken. unfortunately, playing emulators are not always used for such a noble purpose. enslaved robots, for example, often have very high settings for their pain emulators.
Humans & Monsters:
in ancient times, humans fought on both sides of the war. many called the genocidal war, unjust, and for against ceiling, monster, kind underground.
Unfortunately, that was long ago. Now humans do not believe the monsters exist. It has been so long all evidence of monster kind has been lost. Myths of monster still persist, but they are thought to be just that myths. Very few believe monsters are real, and those that do don’t exactly have the right idea about them. ancient human propaganda conflating being a monster with being a horrible person has tainted their views. One of the few remaining things from that time on the surface.
Anomalous Memory Files:
whenever a reset happens, the whole world is brought back, but only those in the underground can actually remember any degree. Clover gets a new anomalous memory file whenever a reset occurs and Flowey doesn’t want them to remember. sometimes these memories, activate allowing access. Revealing to clover memories from previous timelines.
Cool Fact:
Cowbot Clover once shot three police officers in their dominant hands.
