Hands beat like the steady sound of a drumbeat. Ella was more than a little pleased to see the progress of her students, even if only six of them joined in and only four really put effort into it. She was confident that with time, she could convince all of them to learn. Walking past the women, Ella gave slight corrections to their form, shifting a few arms and feet herself to get them in a better position to land a hit. More than any of her students, she wanted them to know how to fight right, and it was why she was so hard on them.
She left women doing basic exercises, finding herself jostled into the food receiving line as someone else needed to take a break. Well, five minutes away from her class to help out the womenâs shelter as a whole wasnât so bad. She forced a smile on her face, pulling her hair away from her face and nodding to the next person in line. âThank you for your donation.â
Erin had been going to school and working and that meant sheâd been lacking on other things. Sheâd heard there was a glass going on for exercises and while she did get exercise in it was always better with other people. It made it less awkward and you had company which wasnât ever a bad thing. Company pushed her to workout harder, better and that was something she needed.Â
Sheâd taken a break to get some food, it was good to stay fed and hydrated, plus she loved food. She looked back to the person who was talking to her. âHm? Oh yeah, of course. I mean, itâs the least I can do, right?â
