Chloe Bennet Appreciation Week ♥ Day One: Favorite Photoshoot
Maeve watched the brunette avidly, her words weren’t of much interest to her. After all a silly game wasn’t enough to fully grasp her attention but it was always a joy to see Erin, the succubus had developed a sort of fondness when it came to her. “Nothing to be sorry about. Chaos can be pretty enticing, real or otherwise.”
"It can be!" Erin was almost giddy then turned off her phone after saving her game. She turned her full attention to her friend and smiled, "Sorry I shouldn't have been rude.. I just really like creating viruses.. for some reason." She shivered as she thought on the possibility of school. Of course that was not something she was meant for, but the prospect of being one of those people creating deadly things was intriguing but no. Erin wasn't meant for that, plus she was happy with her life here in the Inn with her Dragon and of course with Maeve. "So! What's up? Do anything fun today?"
"What are you babbling on about now, Walden?" Maeve said with a grin as she leaned over to look at her friend’s phone.
"This game! You make.. an illness.. it infects the world. You are trying to take out the human race." Erin clicked a few things then squealed. "Aha! Now basic antibiotics can't take you out.. way to go.. my little bacterial infection.." She shook her head then looked up to Maeve with a slightly sheepish grin, "Sorry.. I guess I shouldn't get that excited about the extinction of human life. Real or not."
"Is it horrible that I am addicted to the game where you make terrible diseases.. and try to kill of the world's population?" Squints at her screen, "Damn you ships and your sterilization practices!"
So—- how exactly do you reintroduce yourself back into society when you’ve been… asleep for awhile?
Ehhh I have heard hello works well.. or long time no see.. You can even joke about being related to Rip Van Winkle..
Aimee smiled a bit as the girl talked. “It’s medical school, I wouldn’t describe it with the word ‘kill’. It does seem like it’s a bit excessive, though.” She smiles, the woman across from her has very nice eyes, she thinks offhandedly. “Well, usually the e-books are only around… four dollars cheaper? Last time I checked. I’d rather have a copy I can mark up, to be honest.”
Ah, she was one of those people. Erin had nothing against those who had the need to pursue higher education, it was just hard to relate to it. "Oh.. really? Damn, you would think they would be at least half the cost.. since you know.. no killing trees and such." She shrugged at the idea then shook her head, "Guess just another reason why I don't belong in those four walls anymore." With a laugh she shook her head once more, "Oh well.. yeah with that whole medical thing I can see wanting to mark up a book or two.. make notes in those.. margin things."
The worrying frown spread across her face, Aimee studied her textbooks at a table of the bookstore. She was oblivious to the entire world when she studied, so it was no surprise, to anyone else, that another person had taken a seat on the other side of the table. But when Aimee looked up, she jumped a small amount. “Gosh, you scared me half to death!” she exclaimed.
"Oh.. sorry. I just couldn't help but stare.." The stack of books was motioned to, it was at this moment Erin was glad she chose to forego college. She would have hated to have to buy all of those then be stuck in a stuffy classroom. "That.. seems like overkill doesn't it?" Soon enough she was looking at the other woman with a half smile, "Plus aren't most of these available on that eBook thing for waaaaay cheaper?"
