This is SUCH a cool one-to-one
Oh easy mistake. Yearning actually rises from the floor and longing hangs from the ceiling
Вставай, скоро молоко раздавать будут!…
the translation is significantly more Soviet in tone than the original, which is great

We all agree, right?
AI to write your novel is wrong
A bargain with a demon to write your novel is okay
Only if you specify in the contract that the demon can't use chat-GPT
I've been thinking about this - and why asking the demon is also a bad idea
Tartini was a composer and violin teacher and no one respected him, he was generally broke, and he started having weird dreams in which the devil asked him to teach him violin
despite being catholic tartini agreed - although everything told him this was a bad idea
so he taught the devil violin in his dreams and when he had taught him everything he knew the devil offered him payment, he played an original composition in his dream
Tartini woke up weeping and struggled to write it down
we have a historical version of "couldn't remember the greatest song in the world, this is just its tribute", and the song he wrote down made him "Sonata in G Minor, aka the devil's trill" it's usually played by 2 violinists because it's evil difficult,
now imagine you make a deal with the devil to write your novel, he writes it but only lets you read it in a dream and you have to transcribe it from memory the next day.... 150k of the best prose and plot you've ever seen in your life and you have to remember it
chatgpt is evil, but that's just mean
This brings a whole new element to my understanding of Devil Went Down to Georgia
the long awaited sequel
Ohhhhhhhhhhh I love moles
Krita shortcuts I use (will continuously update bc even now after using it for more than 3 years, I find new things).
Learned/intuitive
b: brush
e: eraser
f: fill
g: gradient
m: mirror view
R + click: switch to layer
ctrl + T: transform
ctrl + shift + R: paste as reference image
ctrl + shift + A: deselect
ctrl + shift + z: redo
If you don't want to get overwhelmed by shortcuts I suggest you stop reading here. I learned most of these by trial and error anyway and whatever sticks stuck.
I forget it exists:
/: switch to previous brush
shift + drag: resize brush
t: move
ctrl + space: drag to zoom
shift + space: drag to rotate
5: reset rotation
ctrl + u: adjust HSV
You can see all the shortcuts through the config, but like. There's a lot and I just kind of forget. Some I just found out about from that which might be helpful:
p: eyedropper
hold h: color history picker
hold u : canvas palette picker
ctrl + shift + g: clipping group
ctrl + g: group
ctrl + alt + g: ungroup
ctrl + shift + I: invert selection
x: swap foreground & background colors
Changes I just made:
removed: d = replace foreground & bg colors to BnW
replaced: ctrl + V = paste at cursor (instead of normal paste)
removed: ctrl + h = toggle selection indicator (prevent accidental trigger)
removed: ctrl + click = eyedropper

#Make Racists Scared Again 2026
Share if you want people to know they should be scared to be racist around you 👊🏾
"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".
