Sirens, the mystical mermaids who are able to lure sailors towards rocky shores via their hypnotic singing, causing the sailors to crash into the rocky coast of their island, meeting a watery demise. But this is about one-tenth of who they are.
The very first sirens were the powerful jujutsu sorcerers who lived deep underwater. It was rumored that they could control not only humans, but also the cursed spirits. And this is why people were afraid of them. They were afraid of their powerful force, capable of bringing the whole world to its knees. That's why the Big Three Sorcerer Families united and went to war against the sirens.
The sirens were defeated. To avoid the destruction of their nation, surviving sirens made a binding vow. They vowed that neither they nor their relatives will never use their power against humans. Even though, there were high hopes for you, you were too bold, too free spirited to stay in the clan and withstand the rigorous training. You didn't want to follow the path the elders suggested. You wanted to see the world, to learn everything on your own and, more importantly, you wanted to marry for love, not to bear heirs from a man chosen by the elders. So you ended up fleeing to another country, Japan, and joining Tokyo Jujutsu Teach at the age of fifteen.
The elders were furious. They bossed and yelled and demanded a lot, they insisted on your returning, but... all for nothing. Because the friends, the teachers, all people around you already were deeply fond of you. They did their best to protect you. And, you know, with the heir of Gojo clan by your side, it was not so difficult to shut the elders up.
Nowadays you live a happy life with a loved one and work at Tokyo Jujutsu Teach as a homeroom teacher of second years. Your clan accepted the fact that you stayed in Japan and are not planning to turn back. They even proud of you, obviously, because you had made great strides. Since your cursed technique does not require physical training and special flexibility, you focused on studying and cursed technique practice. That's why you have a good grades in classes and CT lessons, but satisfactory ones in physical training.
▣ Cursed Technique: Siren Song
This cursed technique allows you to control the curses only by your singing. The reason why this does not extend to the humans lies in the binding vow of the first sirens. Because of them your generation can't use the powers on humans, be it sorcerers or not. However, since you are able to control the curses, they can help you to deal with curse users if you are in danger. Your cursed technique is very similar to Curses Manipulation, but using songs.
Since your relatives vowed to protect humans, you can use Reversed Cursed Technique on a very high level, not only on yourself, but also to heal other people. "The Song of Life" is the song that heals everyone who hears it. "The Song of Death" is the song that kills all curses around you depending on their grade. "The Song of Control" allows you to control the curses. When you were a high school student you were able to kill and control only 3 grade curses or weaker. But nowadays you can kill and control 1-2 grade curses too. It takes a lot of your powers though and it can lead to burning out and mental health issues.
The best way to gain strength after a difficult mission for you is sleeping. That's why you sleep a lot and feel much better after ten more hours of sleeping.
This is a very important thing for jujutsu sorcerer who has her voice as a main weapon. You always carry a portable speaker in your bag, because it helps you to reduce the load on the vocal cords. Whenever you want a lot of people and curses to hear you you, you also use the speaker.
Romantic Matchup: Gojo Satoru
♡ The first meeting with Satoru happened during your first-year when you joined Tokyo Jujutsu Teach as a new student. But even then, from the moment you two saw each other, you and Satoru immediately got along. You were on more calm and motherly side, aura of mystery you had around you was like a magnet for Satoru. Since the both of you were classmates and one of just a few girls, you and Shoko got along quickly and bonded over the fact that you two were reversed cursed technique users. The way you always were so sweet and caring with your silly classmates was something Shoko cannot understand about you. Why you chose Gojo of all people too. But every time she sees you and Satoru being lovey-dovey with each other, Shoko understands why, because the two of you are crazy about each other. It makes her a bit cringe, Shoko and Suguru like to tease you two about how in love with each other you two are, but they also can't help, but feel happy for you and Satoru.
