If you want to remember to pray about specific things, like friends, family, or world events, write them down in a journal or notebook and then use that to guide your thoughts.
If you don't have the words for specific world events, Google it. There are lots of people who are posting prayers for all sorts of things for common use, and you can modify them for your deities as necessary. And yes, this includes things like racial justice and queer acceptance. Poke me if you want my copies of these. I'm Christian, but the prayers can be modified and tailored to your deity and needs. Mine are formatted to be printed out and cut apart to glue onto index cards.
Electric tea lights are perfectly acceptable for when you need to light a candle but worry about house fires. Christmas is coming, which means you can buy large electric candles, and those can be turned on and lit in windows for instances where you need a candle in a window for a few hours.
Just holding a piece of paper with your concern written on it can count as prayer/worship. Get some index cards and write down snippets whenever you think about it.
If you want to lift friends and family concerns up to your deities, print out wallet sized pictures of them to keep in your wallet. Every time you see them can count as a prayer, and it doubles as a way to remind you of the people who care about you.
Don't be afraid to pick up a small statue/action figure/print/etc that can function as a focal point for you when you need it. Your primary deity is Loki, and you associate him with the Marvel movies? Pick up a Loki action figure. You worship a female deity and a local thrift store has a ceramic figurine that reminds you of her? Buy it. What matters is the connection you make with your deity through the figure, not the figure's original purpose.
Looking for trans and queer Catholic saints? Check out And Her Saints on etsy and Instagram. I'm on mobile so I can't link but they have several amazing prints and stories about trans and queer saints.
If prayer beads are a thing that will help, make yourself a string of prayer beads. Pony beads and cord are fine for this, or you can go to the craft store and get fancy. You can even just put knots into some yarn.
The tall emergency candles at the dollar store are great for lighting for deities as well. These are the ones that sometimes have Catholic saints on them, but the dollar stores will usually have several that don't have anything on them. You should have some of these around anyway in case you lose power, and you can wrap a picture or prayer around the jar to make it a prayer candle. They're intended for long term use and are very safe.
And remember, no matter what religion or spirituality you are, it's always okay to make a little shrine to keep your things in. This could be as simple as a shoe box you keep everything in when not in use, or a small cabinet you paint and repurpose. It's okay to need something fancy and it's okay to have something simple. Whatever you need to have a good focal point.
