Rapids Artwork: Plan for the Future.
Hey everyone, this is the biggest post this blog will ever see so strap in.
This year was very slow in terms of art and that is because I have been working on bigger long term projects and without further ado I am going to set my tentative plans for the future.
The Adventures of Tara and Kevin 2018-2020:
The Adventures of Tara and Kevin will hit Webtoons in the next few months and will post once a week.
With the current written plot the series will run for the next two years before concluding.
The Genesis Gauntlet 2019?:
Once Tara and Kevin gets to a comfortable pace that I can publish without missing an update, a second webcomic: The Genesis Gauntlet will start with a short 40-ish chapter run.
It’s a weird adventure story about a magic gauntlet that grants life to inanimate objects. I am really excited about this one so expect to see concept art of this in the future.
After Tara and Kevin concludes my next webcomic will be about a three female superheroes each dealing with very different problems, a rogues gallery of quirky villains, an evil superhero ad agency and the side effects of their powers. It should be a lot of fun.
If those three prove to be a success I will start a long form webcomic franchise about three generations of monster hunters and their exploits. They are much more action focused but set the groundworks for the rest of my bigger story ideas moving forward:
Monster Hunters Academy
An action series about 5 dorky kids training to protect the world from monsters and a ancient evil awakened by an old adversary.
Monster Hunters Academy Season 2
20 years after the events of the last battle, the young hunters have become teachers to a new generation facing their own demons, personal and external, mistakes from the past come back to haunt the new hunters.
Monster Hunters Academy Side Story: Regret
Before the heroes of the first story, three students were at the top of the class, and in their hubris they caused a tragedy that can never be undone
Monster Hunters Academy 3: The Bloodletter Saga
Far in the past of the academy, two twins were brought in for training, each harboring a deadly and cursed power that begins to tear them apart both figuratively and literally.
Monster Hunters Academy 4: The Wandering Shade
The sins of the past come to a head as a single descendant of the academy has to form unlikely alliances to stop the end of all reality from a former ally.
MEANWHILE WITH THE PIXEL ART:
Starting in 2018, RPA will pick up it’s regular pace of 3 updates a week minimum and will continue with it’s main plot.
RPA has been going on for a year and half, and has over 500 pages.
there is at least 40,000 planned pages and updates.
There is currently enough character models, areas and plotlines to keep RPA going for the next 10 years, it’s planned conclusion is in 2028.
Depending on how it fairs, there is a second interactive pixel comic planned to start with RPA’s conclusion or to run parallel:
The Murder of Mitch Greenwalt:

The next interactive pixel webcomic is a smaller murder-mystery set in a smaller world that is more character and dialogue focused than RPA.
Set in the 1950′s, the players control a mixed raced high-schooler joining an integrated school halfway through the year.
The only person the player character knows, Mitch Greenwalt is happy to see them after such a long time apart, but Mitch seems off somehow.
The next day, Mitch’s body is found on the school grounds and everyone, teachers, staff, locals and even the students, are all suspects.
Hoping to put your long lost friend to rest, you begin an investigation of your own and start untangling the web of relationships, rumors and bullying that crisscross every single person in town.
A yearbook will be accessible on all pages, showing every major character and all the information learned about them up till then, as the player seeks justice for their murdered friend.
Video Games and Visual Novels:
Lost in the Woods is still under construction and there are 3 sprites still unfinished.
I plan for a Demo to be released by the end of 2018 and the final version to be released in 2019.
The Harry Potter Dating sim is still in production and will be in production after Lost in the Woods is complete. Expect it in 2020.
These are all the big projects I have under wraps and will be working on over the next few years.
I am fully prepared to not meet these deadlines because life is unpredictable and full of chaos.
But if I don’t try then what is the point? I want to make my stories real, and I am willing to try as hard as I can to achieve even half of this proposed plan.
