Vela loves meeting new alien species! Perhaps a bit too much! Her adventures usually end in some *AHEM* not work-safety-approved collection of biological samples! She is great at what she does, but she keeps driving her AI captain insane with how often she fucks her research subjects.

I've always wanted to do a redraw of this art, and now it's colored in all it's awful neon orange TANG glory.

Although I think this is the best visual I've made to show how Burra's "skin" works, with her crystalline body underneath.

Burra is one of my favorite OCs to draw.

She has nothing and everything going on in her head at all times. (She's ancient immortal full of arcane knowledge, but also she got locked out of her own building for three days because she kept pulling on a push door.)

She's eight feet tall, can crush atoms with her finger tips, has ripped the heads off of gods and kings alike, and she still eats cold ravioli straight out of the can because she's too scared to use a stove.

She's such a dumb little loser I love her and you are legally required to as well.

Below the cut is some slightly more body-horror-y sketches exploring exactly how her "skin" works. (She's actually made of crystals and her outer skin regrows whenever she needs it.)

Don't worry she's fine.

Burra is one of the oldest living demons to date (second only to Lacero and maybe Fetico) And as demons get older, their bodies crystallize. Their shapeshifting powers allow them to grow a fleshy outer layer whenever they want, but it can slough off with wear and tear. (and Burra is a very active demon. She's too busy making love, eating the still-beating hearts of billionaires, and getting her hand stuck inside pickle jars.)

Fuente, the matron of the bath-house has her sprites done!

She's a lot of fun to draw and will hopefully be a lot of fun to interact with once the game is up and running. She is both elegant and a bit of dork.

Have you had any experience dealing with Golett or Golurk before? I’ve heard that some of them have been alive for thousands of years. I hear them described as gentle giants, but I’ve seen news stories say that they can be extremely destructive if their mysterious power source gets too unstable.

Do not worry about Professor Yew. Being crushed/bitten/burned/poisoned/stabbed or generally manhandled by Pokemon is important enrichment for Pokemon Professors.

Golurk and Gollet are very friendly Pokemon, despite their destructive capabilities. Like all large Pokemon, it is best to train them with care, and teach them proper restraint.

Do not put your Golurk in battle if you see significant cracks forming on their shell. Give them time to rest and heal, and they will be back to normal in a few days.

As for the influences of their shell's design, that is another matter entirely and is the topic of much discussion among the research community.

Ask Prof. Yew about Ghost, Dark and Glitch Pokemon, or any Pokemon Urban Legends!

Another robot!

His name is Dagda-dó, a security bot that was thrown out and ended up on a rather desolate "dumping ground" planet. He managed to repair himself and now lives as a protector to the downtrodden inhabitants of his new home.

He hates the evil and the corrupt, but is rather shy when meeting new people.

He kinda has "fighting game character" energy with his stretch limbs and flashy special moves. I like him.
