Winter in Gaza has become a nightmare…

We’re not living — we’re simply trying to survive each day under a worn-out tent that can’t protect us from the cold, the wind, or the rain.

Every night, water finds its way inside from every side.

Our mattresses are soaked, our blankets never fully dry, and we end up sleeping on damp ground that gets colder with every hour.

The wind shakes the tent, and we fear waking up to find it torn or blown away, leaving us exposed with nowhere else to go.

This is especially hard with children… they deserve warmth, safety, and a real roof — not this.

Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.

She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.
