It's so crazy how "Don't feed the trolls" was like the Motto of the internet & in forum culture of the 00s and early 10s and now you log onto a certain website and it's just an endless sea of people pouring gruel into the troll trough day in day out and no one seems to realize or care that their internet experience being a constant deluge of misery and bad faith discussion might in fact be their own fault

One of my coworkers just started the acotar series knowing absolutely nothing about the series or the fandom and so far every single one of her opinions have been unerringly correct. When she was reading the first book, she kept telling me that feyre and tamlin’s romance made no sense and felt rushed. She just finished acomaf and of course she agreed it was far better than the first, feels that rhys is a better match for feyre (she also noticed how he was helping her UTM) and that lucien was an idiot for declaring that elain was his mate and thinks he’s suspicious yup i know that’s right!
